The first part in Power to the People. Part dua in Beyond Bodybuilding.

Added on August 9, 2009, 8:53 pmHow you feel is a lousy indicator of how fit you are to train. I practically fasted yesterday (food & water) because I was absorbed in an activity till about 8 p.m. Then ate very lightly (japanese ramen at this nice little mom-and-pop eatery at Mont Kiara where Coffee Bean is. anyone tried?). Then had some Royal Stout and because of this fell asleep without my customary casein.

Woke up after 6 hours of uneasy sleep. Went to trade fair at PWTC, ate McD (sorry), had some cakes and coffee. That was it for today. 30 g of protein maybe?

Thought of not training today because I felt like shit. Did it anyway. And in spite of all that, I broke through my deadlift record after having stalled for 3 weeks (finally got my 5th rep), and made PR in the overhead press.

Just did chins after the PR deadlift. They suffered badly. 7 reps to failure instead of the usual 10.

Dutch lady especially at that offer price is an awesome deal.

However you should get the Low Fat packs next time, they have more protein per serving and well, Less Fat(and carbs).

That's right. For some unfathomable reason, the DL low fat reconstituted UHT milk has a few grams more protein.

Added on August 11, 2009, 1:13 amAnd right now, I'm eating a bowl of yoghurt I made from DL Fresh Milk. It tastes better than commercial ones because the milk is full cream.

I'm getting a little stale from working out. I've gained 6 kg since I started, and with that my hunger for mass has subsided somewhat. Training gets in the way of all sorts of things; watching DVD's, going out, doing my side business, etc. I'm supposed to train this evening after work, but I really, really don't feel like it.

Also, dieting is no fun at all. I feel somewhat hungry most of the time.

Bleh.

I love the effects of training. I've never been fitter in all my life. And until recently, I actually looked forward to train. Today's training day, yippee!

But since about 3 weeks my motivation level has gone down. Hmm, that co-incides with when I started dieting. The diet is nothing radical. I cut out the milk and McD Lunch Special, and aim to eat about 1 small plate of spaghetti (300 kcal) less a day. Eliminate caloric surplus, create small calorie deficit. That's all.

I need something of a reset. A break from training. To live life like the couch potato I was before all this began in March. I miss that lifestyle. It was simpler, I ate like any other Malaysian, and had about 6 hours more discretionary time per week in which I am not clenching my teeth, holding my breath, and giving everything I have to raise the barbell.

I know. The next time he says something like that again, very quickly take hold of his neck and squeeze it. Then let go. That ought to silence him.

I do. It's the shit. Lots of experienced bb'rs think they've got their supplementation right. They don't. Because they havebn't been using Pro Complex. There are all sorts of special stuffs in ON PC that causes muscle bulk to explode through through the ROOF!

Team Pro Complex rocks!
We come, we drink Pro Complex, we conquer.

XD freakin hyped up. Does it include creatine in it? I think I'm gonna try that after my tub of ON whey now. But its more expensive and less right.
*
Brother. What does u mean by hyped up? Pro Complex is superior to every other type of supplement out there. But of course it's more expensive! That's why it's better. It's not anohter wheay.

Team Pro Complex: bigger, faster, smarter.

Added on August 21, 2009, 11:11 amBTW, I weighed myself yesterday, and found I gained 2 kg in 2 weeks while on a cut and inconsistent training. Strange.

But have any of you actually tried Pro Complex before dissing it in yr ignorance? Have any of you take it consistent? Those in Team Pro Complex will know the secrets of Pro Complex. Look. I dun want to insult you penny-pinching whey drinkers, but Pro Complex is more than whey. Yes, it contains sodium, but only because the salt harvested from the armpit of ON founder really acts as a catalys to EXPLOSIVE muskel growth!

Please only reply if u member of TEAM PRO COMPLEX

I bought Pro Complex because of the hydrolyzed whey protein in it. It's the only thing that contains HydWheyPr in a typical GNC. And I need HWP because I used to work out first thing in the morning, and did not have time for whey to be digested, and I think this way because my workout drinks are all done according to an exacting Berardi philosophy.

So I was given a lecture on Saturday by a consultant Ear, Nose, and Throat specialist about the whole problem of snoring. Unwillingly, for I was there for something else. The main problem it seems, is obesity, and how this causes all sorts of the strangest things you can think of. I can't quite remember what it meant, but "metabolic disease" sounded really cool.

Anyway, you will be glad to know that

1. The medical community's understanding of bodyweight is way more primitive than ours. He kept talking about absolute bodyweight. There was no awareness of bodyfat percentages. He kept referring to medical studies that made use of shirt collar measurements or abdominal girth as measures of obesity. Don't they have Tanita scales?

2. His prescription in losing weight is this: Atkins + aerobic exercise. No concept of skinny fat. No mention of resistance exercise. Oh and of course: Reduce fat intake!

3. He said a survey found that the average woman will go through 360 diets in a lifetime.

4. No awareness of the fact that more muscle mass increases metabolic rate permanently and thus helps in fat burning.

5. They are very primitive about how to go about losing weight. I think BB'ers are absolute pros in this field.

6. Incredible inventiveness has been invested by university hospitals in creating symptomatic cures to the problem. This doctor invented a surgery to enlarge the cavity at the back of the throat to make breathing easier for the obese. He sells it for RM 8k. About 30 mins work for him.
(Now you know why they are primitive at helping patients lose weight. They don't make any money off that!)
