QUOTE(minghao @ May 11 2009, 09:54 PM) Haha, perhaps I might want to use a proper word to describe my desperation to overcome my skinny issue. if you are that desparate, you will read the sticky 1st before you asking this kind of question instead of expecting spoon feeding? |

QUOTE(kotmj @ Jul 2 2009, 05:25 PM) You need to take a multi-week rest from anything that will tax your back. I had a dull pain in my spine from squats that wouldn't go away. I would feel it every morning, though it went away during the day and reappeared the next morning. I recently stopped working out for a week, and the pain completely disappeared. But this morning I felt a slight bit of it because I squatted on Tuesday. Joints take much longer than muscle to heal, or so I heard. wrong form! when squat, when the time you up, ur butt up 1st instead of your torso, it will tax your back..arrhh, i donno how to describe it, i think pizza can describe in a better technical way |

QUOTE(JonYeap @ Jul 6 2009, 11:31 AM) oh... it depends on your body condition. if you are active in excercise, that is not a hard job for you to squat BWi am not sure coz the 1st time i did my squat also my bodyweight already. so i dont know how hard it is to get to that. after a couple of sessions i am doing almost 1.5 times my bodyweight already. so i have no clue... i seldom squat though... coz i dont really like it. haha... plus i have a weak back due to spinal injury years back. but then as i said, you got crazy potential on weight lifting =.=ll |

QUOTE(JonYeap @ Jul 7 2009, 02:12 PM) my weight is approximately 86kg. 10kg increment each workout is brutally hard....you're 175kg is my 1rm for now... but so far it increases around 10kg every week. last month i am just at 135kg or so... tomorrow i might go for 185kg if my back is fine. will slowly build up the momentum 1st... planning to hit 200kg by Merdeka... not sure if its achievable. hope i dont hit my plateau just yet... |
