CM Storm Sentinel is expected to be launched by september.

Here is the picture....

It's 5000dpi, independently dial-in your preferred X-and Y-axis DPI, rubber coated body, OLED display on top, weight system as well as onboard memory for storing profiles, and on-the-fly sensitivity adjustment.
*
I gotta say.. it looks like SS Ikari.. an enhanced version.. lol

Looks pretty cool, esp. with OLED.

I wonder how much its gonna cost.

Btw, any idea when its arriving in our shores?..

actually its 5600dpi...still pointless if u ask me.
the OLED display on top can also be customised to have your own graphics or team logo.
its stated as having 1mm liftoff distance on all pads, that remains to be seen.

also has weight management system bringing the mouse from just under 130gm to a fat 160gm.

then the gay part of the mouse of cos is the ability to change its LED color with 6 different choices.

anyway, coming out next month at around RM215.
*
I gotta say.. alot features for rm215 pricetag, not to mentioned will be cheaper since that price its rpp rite?..

Anywayz, shall wait for reviews first... heh

Its good another company goes into the competitive world of gaming wares wink.gif

Cheers biggrin.gif

I wish all peripherals makers will just stop trying to act smart by using rubber coatings. In the end they all start to feel sticky, yucky n start peeling off. Luckily Logitech has seen the light of day n stopped using the stupid rubbery stuff on the new releases like the G19 n G9s.
*
Totally agreed on that!.. thats one of the reason im not getting Mamba.. imagine such expensive mouse... becomes sticky/peeling-issue... oh man... shocking.gif

But... if somehow they made to make a rubberized material that doesn't worn out / sticky.. it would be awesome.. heh tongue.gif

aiyoyo, optical IS infra red la.
MX518 sensor is Avago / ADNS 3688, which is what the Death Adder / Boomslang CE / Diamondback 3G / Salmosa also uses tongue.gif
*
Didn't know its the same..

So MX518 light its invisible (can't be seen by naked eyes) like DA or any other Razer mice using Infra-red rite?..

dunno, never used MX518 before.
my last logitech mouse was the MX500 before i saw the green light biggrin.gif

i just know there is one sensor maker that both uses, which is Avago / ADNS.
another example are the razer copperhead and logitech g5 which also share the same sensor, ADNS-6010.

logitech still continues to use ADNS sensors in their other ones like g500, g9x...but razer has since moved on to philips sensors for the lachesis and mamba.
*
I see.. i see... if not mistaken latest version of MX518 only (if not mistaken theres like 3 revisions of it liaoz rite?) uses same sensor as DA, as i googled up abt it.

MX518, for its price as gaming mouse not to mentioned solid brand and great sensor.. its one of the best value mouse out there.

As i have MX700 (first wireless gaming mouse?), and still working till now.. if not mistaken pretty much same shape as MX518 rite?..

Cheers smile.gif

What? My MX518 is just like any other optical  mouse, it's red at the bottom.

If I'm not mistaken Optical technology works like this, there's this sensor that takes picture of a surface and detects any movements, since it's dark, need a LED light to shine, thus the red light.
*
Can u see yer MX518 lights beaming out?... coz Razer DB/DA etc. doesnt (can't be seen by naked eyes) unless u use camera etc. to see it.

Cheers smile.gif

Can, it's a normal red light like a normal optical mouse. LED light, most probably, just like any other optical mouse.
*
Its yer MX518 latest version?...

I mean... can't be same sensor as DA rite?.. if theres red light coming out.. as DA doesn't... hmm.. hmm.gif

Item(s):Logitech G7 Gaming Mouse

This is a very good mouse, the surface made by carbon fibre where no matter how long u used it..it will still look like a new 1...
*
Err.. dude, its just Carbon Fibre pattern (just cosmetic)... not the real material... afaik it would be very expensive if its really on Carbon Fibre...

Cheers smile.gif
