its a solid mouse for your everyday use and gaming...its also the cheapest from the sidewinder series...try searching for microsoft sidewinder in this hardware section...you'll find it

omg...you guys still spreading the "roccat-love"...anyway...i won't stop ya...need to have more "cats" on the gaming scenes these days...coz seen too much of razer's...thats why i go for sidewinder

G1...if you can find it..then it's a "ok" gaming mouse...but ppl may say that the intellimouse 3.0 and 1.0 from microsoft would be even better...
@suicideroach, x3 looks to be simple for normal gaming and relatively cheap for 2000dpi ..take note that it doesn't have side buttons..whether thats important depends on the user...personally you might wanna have a look at logitech's mx518...if can sacrifice a bit more...go for the x5... |

^ well...just my personally 2 cents, i love the 2 side buttons...its different from the rest of gaming mice out there...(which is what i like...difference)
