the performance of the gtx 260 can even be very close to gtx 280 when overclocked.....those that upgrade from gtx 260 to 4890 are fools

we wont know how much more powerfull it is compared to GT200 series but i heard IT IS much more powerfull than GT200....we just got to wait and see

last time my 8800gt run at full speed all the time...how come my bill not super expensive? ......anyway GT200 series graphic card will downclock to 300mhz core clock and 100mhz memory clock during idle

certain browser will make the graphic to turn up to full clock speed....so far i tested Opera and IE wont trigger it....only Safari i tested would make the card go full speed....what browser are u using?

only gtx 200 series have that power saving feature so i think its normal i guess

its a feature u cant turn off.....when playing certain videos will also trigger it ....games for sure will go full speed....certain downloaders like limewire seems to make it run at full speed....bit torrents will not trigger it though

did u update your driver? or maybe something is making your graphic card go full speed

try closing some of your taskbar application....rockstar social club(GTA4) sitting on my taskbar used to trigger my card to full speed...Steam might trigger it as well

that one is a chart listing out the failure rate of each graphic card right? i wouldnt take that thing seriously to buy graphic card....anyway gtx 260 still running strong since 2 months ago i bought it

nope....i dont find the need to overclock it since i can maxed out all games anyway except for crysis which i dont bother much

70 celcius is very normal....mine is higher than that.....probably a driver issue or the problem is the game itself...maybe u can try updating the game as well

lol ur too paranoid over temperature i guess....i like mine as quite as possible....anyway u can use rivatuner to set it back to auto

hybrid sli basically means that when the dual GPU are idle it will be in an "off" state and will be switched over to geforce integrated graphics to save power

it is better to buy the gtx 260 since its quite cheap already and the performance difference between both graphic card u wont even notice....same goes to upgrading 4870 to 4890
