Dear all Pro-Travellers,

Appreciate your advise on the best/cheap/easiest transportation to travel from Jakarta to Bandung besides of plane.
(Bus/Train/Taxi).

Need to know the following:

1) Depart & Arrival Location/Station
2) Estimated Cost
3) Estimated Travel Hours
4) Operation Hours
5) How frequent would the transportation be available?

Once arrived at the airport, just ask for direction to the express bus counters. There are 2 or probably more there. Just buy the ticket direct to Bandung.the bus that I took last time stop at giant hypermarket Bandung. I forgotten the name & price dy

is october a good month to travel in Indonesia? planning for Jakarta and Bandung, and maybe include Yogyakarta as well.

First night at bandung then the rest at Jakarta.

jaksa is a wellknown backpackers area in jakarta... something like Petaling Street in KL..

quite closeby jakarta city center ...

well jakarta is relatively safe.. for me at least.. i think its safer then KL...

But yea .. can be quite prone to tourist crimes.. drunks.. drugs.. etc etc..
