Atpower setting : NB voltage / NB HTT voltage...

But you just increase it only one notch arr...jgn lebih2...later you nangis...ekekekeke..

Go and check lor...first time login into bios then press F9 button to enable the full menu...

B]Bro ah_khoo you pakai apa NB cooler kat DK??? hmm.gif

Dekat Spore ada juai noctua x ??? hmm.gif
*
no, noctua is not available here. i swap d lapparty cooler w/ cm chipset cooler, placed a 40mm fan on top of it. temp wise it managed to bring down around 5'c only, not really gud but w/ deneb d temp is much cooler. smile.gif

mane i punyer blend test bro... hmm.gif

there's no nb voltage readin bios/os so one can't really determine d value ubless they take a look at d value set in bios/thru aod. chipset temp is always d highest temp of all, even hotter than chip temp... doh.gif

tried the latest official bios, IT ROCKS thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

I can pump voltage to the nb nao(currently running at 2400Mhz @1.29v) brows.gif

For those new DFI 790FXB/790GX user that have problem with PCIe slot (GPUz give 8x reading or PCIe x16 with non 2.0), you need to manually go to bios, advanced chipset->PCIe setting->Select any PCIe lane u used->GEN 2 mode = AUTO (default is disabled) nod.gif
*Make sure the jumper is on GEN 2 jumper*

With that will get full PCIE2.0 @16x tongue.gif

(i hope ah_koo help post this at DFI forum since i got no account at there blush.gif

(Problem solved with latest bios) Yeap, no nb voltage reader but, can test test mah...it is weird that at stock voltage, i go as high as 2200Mhz but with 1.4v pumped, i can go as high as 2200Mhz too tongue.gif laugh.gif

i always set it to 16x instead of auto, learnt d trick last time when i was on abit ax78. smile.gif

nb would be d last stage of deneb oc imo, deal w/ either chip or ram oc 1st, after get d 2 sorted out then only play w/ it. wink.gif

No..not the link width, the GEN 2 mode that is located at the top most in the bios setting.

Last time i got problem which
1) first slot is 8x (1.0)
2) second slot is 16x (1.0)
3) third slot not sure

but after enable the GEN 2 mode..
1) first slot not sure
2) second slot is 16x @2.0 thumbup.gif

even with a small improvement but that was great...!!
coz every thing is run at default except NBfreq, if OC with CPU+RAM, the improvement will be a lot better... wub.gif thumbup.gif

i wouldn't call 1s + improvement w/ same clock + ram speed as small bro. heck, for not so overclockable amd chips , one need hell of works just to gain 1s improvemnt. sweat.gif

iianm, nb freq is related to l3 cache. so higher freq = better performance. pls correct me if i'm wrong... wink.gif

on what setting/clock/voltage? hmm.gif

if stock, the idle around 34~36( core temp), and load around 4x (core temp)

as for the acpi reading, it is around 26 on idle, while on load around 3x.

cooler suggestion, if you wanna go for the best on air, go for thermalright TRUE tongue.gif
