AMD took the lessons learned through developing ACC with 65-nm Phenom and baked them into their 45-nm Phenom II silicon. As a result, ACC no longer provides the OC’ing benefits it did previously with 65-nm Phenom parts. In the words of AMD: “you can just as well leave ACC off for Phenom II OC testing. Since, the "go-fast" things we learned from ACC (and those CPU parameter adjustments) were factored into 45nm, the benefit unlocked previously by ACC in 65nm silicon is already being realized without having to use the ACC feature separately.” Over the Christmas holiday (before hearing this from AMD) we’d already attempted OC’ing our Phenom II CPU and sure enough, ACC provided no benefit when OC’ing the processor. We actually thought something was wrong with our 790GX motherboard until we heard back from AMD.

no oc on the integrated graphic, running the CPU on 4 cores @ 3.3GHz (200 x 16.5)

does acc helps for you? i just tried enable all 4 core 2% and auto... both not helping at all...
Does we need add more percent? Just never familiar with ACC yet... and surf a lot web all said it is not helping Phenom II only...
Hope future SB does help P2.... Acc2 maybe

hi all the sifu out there. i'm currently using a x4 810 with biostar ta790gx-128m. i wish to oc it to 3.6. i succeed at 3.12 (240x13) with +0.1 for vcore, 2.1v for ram voltage, downclock my ram to lowest and the rest i leave it default. when i increase it to 278x13 with +0.15 vcore it restart after a few minutes of prime test. wat shud i do to get the 3.6 result?

From what i learn by wasting so much time on the phenom 2, it have a wall on prime95 stable...
Trying to get 3.6 stable is no way at the moment (Hope some new chipset will help such as sb750 helps phenom 1)... even pump +vcore +0.150 +0.175 +0.20 all will get BSOD and restart... tried add cpu-nb as well.. fail...
But my cpu will stay stable at 3562Mhz.... prime for 7 hours without any problem.

Confirm ACC is not helping Phenom II but makes it easy to crash ...

btw, bro ah_khoo, i tried +2%, + 4%, +6% on core 1 (0% on the others), and even Auto for ACC, but the problem is still there...

proper GC and CMOS clear jumper placement, unlike 128M where master GC slot at bot(hot!!) + the CMOS clear that block by GC slot..

Lol..Future Chipset..so far is 880G which is to come with SB800 i think..

I still back to my point ... ACC is not really useful here. More easy to crash than stabilize the cpu here.
Just sharing not argue =P
