i think u should try up ur CPU volt to 1.55V for kamikaze style OC result  tongue.gif ...and see if u can go above 3.6GHz stable. this 720 proc is very oc'able...but u need so much juice to make it above 3.4GHz...i can see u have a very good cpu HSF...bun dunno about NB temp tho...
*
lol, i am not going tfor that man... risk is too high... dun want to fry the stuff...

juz tried 3.7GHz though, already @ 1.5V, but auto restart when i run prime95... guess i am reaching the max for my setup already...

btw, do try to get Biostar, really value for the money...

Hold on..Dont so fast..3.7Ghz 3 Cores?
Dont always play with multiplier.Sometimes you will require lesser voltage if play HTT + multi instead of just Multis.Try it smile.gif

i tried oc my 720 on my M2A-VM mobo...went to 3.8GHz and able to boot to windows...but need to set vcore to 1.55V...tried to stress d proc...but d heat on d 690G chip is just too high...and d vdroop during stress test is also too high on this mobo.

3.7GHz is Super Pi stable but not Prime95 stable...

I dun think so.... For me i think amd is easier... if grab expensive intel cpu... easy clock... if bought Q8200 see... Multiplier X7 makes i hit wall with damn FSB 4XX stuck with motherboard what ever...

Intel multiplier will be smaller with increasing FSB... 333 400.....
AMD multiplier will be higher since the HTT stay at 200.....

I say AMD easy tongue.gif

From what i learn by wasting so much time on the phenom 2, it have a wall on prime95 stable...
Trying to get 3.6 stable is no way at the moment (Hope some new chipset will help such as sb750 helps phenom 1)... even pump +vcore +0.150 +0.175 +0.20 all will get BSOD and restart... tried add cpu-nb as well.. fail...
But my cpu will stay stable at 3562Mhz.... prime for 7 hours without any problem.

Confirm ACC is not helping Phenom II but makes it easy to crash ...

this is very subjective bro... some chips (small amount thou) do fare further w/ d use of acc. as for d prime issue, that is d reason why we can hardly see prime result @ super high clock rite? smile.gif

thou denebs have improved in htt oc, but still not as gud as d gud old f3... sad.gif

does acc helps for you? i just tried enable all 4 core 2% and auto... both not helping at all...
Does we need add more percent? Just never familiar with ACC yet... and surf a lot web all said it is not helping Phenom II only...
Hope future SB does help P2.... Acc2 maybe tongue.gif
