i am using shell v power for my car z350 it cost me 26 cent per km on highway test..as i have test petronas petrol the same milege as i did for shell v power...petronas petrol cost me the same as v power..but v power giving me smoother and better respone while changing gear (constant speed at 140km/h) i vote for shell.

I was told by few of my friends that the quality of Petronas' petrol is better & can run more km if compare to other petrol brands. Anyone of u have really compare which brand's petrol really can run more km for same RM?

I am driving Wira, using Petronas & per km is about 0.15-0.16 sen. Any other infos for comparison?

maybe u can try to understand the RON first for ur car then you will know what petrol should use for your car for best effort and fuel effieciency.
i am using esso regular for my car now and before is use primax, i am satisfy with the result in all performance and fuel effieciency part.

One time tested on highway with my dad in his old merc. Petronas from Johor to Ayer Keroh, then Caltex to KL. Use till empty tank then change.
On high speeds the car have a lot of vibrations and engine noise with Petronas. After changing the oil, become smoother after a while. After that we all stayed away from Petronas.
Didn't test with Shell, but I feel driving more syiok the few times I pump v-power in Kelisa. Dunno how much is placebo, biggrin.gif
Don't really care about FC also. If drive with a lead foot, however good FC also no diff. I just go for the brands I feel comfortable with. So, Shell, Caltex, Mobil, BHP.

And i feel that petronas really suitable for my previous WIRA that using MIVEC 1.6 engine.
More km and better pick up. If i pump V-power into mivec...really feels like drinking water...

shell super really did give u slightly more km but when accelerate it is not as smooth as petronas primax 3. in fuel injection car u might cant really tell the different but in carburetor car u will surprise for the smooth and no lag acceleration.
