I was told by few of my friends that the quality of Petronas' petrol is better & can run more km if compare to other petrol brands. Anyone of u have really compare which brand's petrol really can run more km for same RM?
I am driving Wira, using Petronas & per km is about 0.15-0.16 sen. Any other infos for comparison?

This topic looks more like a kopitiam topic LOL
Back to topic, I heard this is truth for others, different cars different model with different fuel performance also different. For me, it's truth, petronas fuel run more distance for both of my cars. And I noticed the difference quite huge, around 30km ~ 40km.

currently im driving kelisa manual, for me, petronas give more km than others. caltex/mobil/esso slightly less but slightly better pickup while shell for me give less km compare to others but better for pick up. so, i choose petronas nway, i heard that for proton's car, better use petronas coz during engine testing period they use petronas's petrol, not sure but this is what i heard ar

i use petronas..km wise no difference as i use both petronas and esso
but i prefer to use esso because of one thing.....the petrol dont give my engine a shitty feeling..if i use petronas i can hear like those tappet sound during hard acceleration during a very hot day.
if i use esso, no sound what so ever....so im leaning towards esso

I was told my a reputable machanic that the best petrol you use is the fuel used during tuning for your car. therefore, before servicing / tuning of your car, use whichever brand you want and stick to it.

i think it depends on how you drive also. for those who always accelerate, for sure the fuel consumption is higher.

For diesel, only Esso/Mobil gives better mileage at the expense of power. Shell gives the best overall pick-up but exhaust is always dirty while Petronas is best of both worlds but less pick-up and still very dirty.
Must try BHP and Caltex soon.
