at old trafford , if needed we will slog our way through

although this game is tricky , i expect man utd to beat inter

forget about the mourinho myth , that was in 2005, we have the experience now

remember , we don't call the Theater of Dreams for nothing and if required , it can be more noisy and crazier than anfield

if anyone gets nervous , think about 2007 - Man Utd 7 - AS Roma 1

Box, u sure RM has some establish player.. they should have star players as they always do.. but this time, RM really just like a contender.. not the champion look team..

just look at their player.. I just wonder how come they can have LASSANA DIARRA that has been sold off to Pompey before bought by RM? i just cannot understand that he is the general in centre half.. fuuuh.

Cannavaro/Raul oledi past their time..

Gago.. Higuain..?? what so good about them?

The only player i want from RM is Iker Casillas.. he is really class..

Lass was the only midfielder i noticed 'functional' during the match.i wonder why portsmouth and arsenal didn't utilize him.anyway, i've never been scared concerning tonight's match.scarier than last season's meet with Barca.

I just watched the 98/99 season review again, and that squad for me is still the best Man Utd squad ever. Even if we win the quintuple this year, which i certainly really hope we do, it's still ain't as great as the 98/99 team, as much as Fergie claimed to be. I wished that we could return and play those seamlessly smooth football all over again.

Yeap...i do watch the 98/99....and it is really interesting that we always come back from behind....but that is added with some luck with our side during that year too...

but for this year....it is totally different...we totally dominate every game and don't give any chance to others team even to have a shot on goal to us....this year our team are more stable that in 98/99....the class of 98/99 certainly is something that going to rush your adrenaline...and if you were telling me that we are playing more seamlessly smooth footbal on 98/99.....i do not agree on this.... 98/99....beckham is the focal point....his crosses are deadly....

Just take this year as example....how many goal we have scores from the crosses?? we have more ground passing this year...we break opponent defence by those deadly through ball....i was so awe each time carrick/berbatov makes one...

PS: and bare in mind...the season review you are watching are highlights....highlights don't tell the whole story thou...

Well the games have changed in the last ten years. I totally agree that our squad this year has more stability, but really the word that is on everyone's mind is defense. We probably have the best defense in United's history this year and that's not something the 98/99 team can say they had. We conceded lots and lots of goals that season but we certainly compensated with more goals. We had an amazing quintet of strikers and the best midfield lineup in the world in Giggs-Scholes-Keane-Becks. Becks certainly delivered with his crosses but so was the rest of the team, even Yorke had double figures in both assists and goals.

While stability is the key, I also wished that we weren't as cautious in our tactics lately. We now drew 0-0 against Barca and Inter in the CL these 2 years, something that we didn't see in that legendary 98/99 season. We attacked, we pressured the opponents and it did paid off handsomely with our goals.

And no, scoring more ground passing doesn't mean we're better. We're also not score enough goals this year, we've nicked numerous 1-0 wins and that can only be convincing to a certain extent.
