Can play on Dirt2 need to configure as opposed to having a profile (apparently now it has)

Other GFWL having issues with Rumblepad 2 is like Batman (can't use it coz can't config, default is just weird), Street Fighter 4 (need to config), Trine (Non GFWL need to download hack to use) and etc.

Had a little test drive with my Xbox 360 controller.

Quite nice except for the slightly weaker force feedback effects.

Managed to win my first race with it. Will play more racing games using it.

Can, just back up your saves in GFWL.

There's a method to back it up.

my dirt2 had problem exiting the game so im forced to end task it for the last two times i've played it. seeing this i went to steam and clicked on "verify integrity of game cache..." now the game exits properly, its just that my local level and online fame has been reset to level 1 again. luckily i still have all my progress and records. How you can prefer a controller without analogue shoulder buttons for acceleration and braking in a racing game is beyond me.

In any case, multiplayer is such a *itch - i keep getting bullied in rallycross, raid and landrush events.  It seems a small tap often sends me flying into a ditch/wall.

Anyway, add me to the dirt2 users list if you feel like bullying me around the track sad.gif .  my GFWL ID is in the sig below.  Or if you're too lazy to click it's

Very true.. those analogue shoulder button really helps in more powerful cars.. like ford rs200..

My tip for racing in those events you mentioned: try slow starting.. those cars in front will have some accidents of some sort. Avoid those and u should be fine smile.gif

Other than wheel damage and total, is there any type of damage that the car can suffer during races with other opponents?

So far, I get quite a few wheel damages when I try to slam the opponent into the corner.

when u bang something or someone really hard, or sometimes when u messed up ur cooling (it doesnt shows this icon) but ur engine will starts to deteriorate. back in dirt 1 they show all these damages by percentage, and some races u'll have to clean and repair ur vehicle with the allocated time.
