Yar, I loved the first one but I got too many games from the Xmas sales, I think I am gonna wait a bit to buy this one. Either try to "forget" it until Steam does some sales later on, or will just buy it later on.

i'm new to Mass Effect Series.. you guys think i should finish Mass Effect before i play Mass Effect 2?

My first round of playing ME also as a soldier.Get to continue him on ME2.

My suggestion? Yes, cause:

1. Mass Effect will be a trilogy and if you are into the good story, you should finish ME 1st.

2. Combat in ME2 looks more interesting than ME so if you start with ME2, combat in ME might not be as much fun.

3. Read point number (1)

4. Your ME character can be port(is that the right word?) over to ME2.

5. Read point number (1) ... again.

6. Pew pew

Your ME1 plot-based outcomes will be brought to ME2, and they will be generally be side stories to the main ME2 storyline.

If you brought ME1 character to ME2, you'll just get some bonuses depending on the previous ME1 level, but the ME2 character will be a fresh start.

Okie. Some questions before i order the game, you guys see any replayability in ME2? Is this Multiplayer? I wiki it and its Single Player.

Bioware has been very successful by just producing epic single player RPGs ever since I'm was still wearing diapers. Though I see there is a potential in ME2 having a multiplayer mode. I'm afraid as of now, there won't be any multiplayer for ME2.

The replayability of it comes from doing the adventure again using different moral choices (kill Y instead of X, kill Z instead of leaving live etc.), different class and co.

Multiplayer could be awesome but I don't think it's on the plan for it.
