QUOTE(peinsama @ Feb 20 2009, 10:45 AM)
It is unexpected and unthinkable....but it does happen in the society especially when conservative culture is still playing a role. Sometimes, people just want to get a degree just because its a DEGREE. A piece of paper to signify your status. I've seen such women especially the one that married a good husband. But at least, it does encourages women to participate in the workforce after graduating which i think we're moving one step closer gender equality in the career field. It's their choice anyway.

But if you would ask my opinion, i don't mind whether my wife is working or not. Its her decision. All i want her to know, is that i love her as always, regardless but hopefully she don't be too lovey dovey to me while im making calls to my clients or boss laugh.gif

It was too mind boggling, you spend thousands of bucks for education, now she wasted it by becoming a full housewife....it is simply a waste of her potential...

That's why i always claim, i have two mothers. One at home and one at nursery. Its how you are brought up. I don't tell myself, which one is closer to me thus i will cherish her more. As long i've been brought up the way i want myself to be, i will cherish both my mums. I gotta to understand that its not easy to raise a child like me. Im born under unusual circumstances. laugh.gif

Many people asked me, how was it like to be in the nursery. They were expecting i might be lack of mum's love. But from the way i see it, i think its good that i stayed in nursery for 12 years. It helps me to tell other kids to be strong when your parents are not around with you and your power rangers.

Sad and moments there are. But come to think of it, i blame no one but myself. At the end of the day, i raised up to be a better man washing toilet happily and make good friend and colleague with hobbes.

Its a beautiful life after all.

If my wife is working, i might deal with more stresses cos i know there will be guys noticing my wife's cute bum which i probably going to hate. But if she works at home, they provided me a motivation to make more money and bring more food in the fridge and table. But on the bad side, if i ever hire a gardener, i will get insecure laugh.gif

I wouldn't say so, being a housewife isn't easy, and having a mother to take care of the children full time is a good thing. I know people want gender equality nowadays, but that doesn't mean both parents have to work. I like the idea of having a wife at home to take care of the kids.

i'm glad that you are who you are now, but the thing is~

not all the kids are like you ... some of them just think it differently...

for example

in a bad circumstance, we get to learn and overcome with it, the lucky one will become the stronger one, the unlucky one might be led to the wrong path~ you see the point?

sometimes, work is not everything for girls~

sometimes, a family is what they really want...

it really depends on how she thinks+ how she's grown~

you think of money, and her effort in studying,.. which is MORE important than what she really wants, then too bad that you fail to understand...

but to claim that~ not ALL the female are like that~ wink.gif slowly find your superwomen and good luck~
