QUOTE(aliqueamyrei @ Jul 15 2009, 04:12 PM) any suggestion please.. I can only answer your second and third question.Rumors said Digi will end their Free Modem plan by the end of this month and perhaps start with new/better promo plan. Anyone heard of this?..is it true?.. About the free modem, does the modem unlock or only can use for Digi only?.. How much do I need to pay on first bill when I subscribe the Discover package?. Any installation or hidden fee?.. 2) Unlocked to all telcos. 3) RM 100 and will be rebated in the first bill. |

QUOTE(momusu @ Jul 16 2009, 08:01 AM) question: can i do skype with video when in edge coverage? I tried before, quite acceptable though it is a bit lag. i tried voice only with skype, ok la, but dunno can do video calls. anyone willing to video skype with me? cant seem to watch youtube/the likes smoothly. avg connection ~150-170kbps for normal page downloads. if downloading big files, can go up from 190-220kbps. if use any download accelerators, can max out edge already. |

It is good to see DiGi (my favourite brand) establishes its brand name on LYN.
Not many people know that DiGi has its own broadband now, the first in Malaysia that utilises HSPA. I hope with the existent of this section, many will get exposure about what DiGi broadband is. |

QUOTE(prasys @ Jul 20 2009, 05:48 PM) 384Kbps , but after overheads and not to mention since its being shared with voice users and such , expect it to be 230kbps (peak). Under normal conditions (aka real life) expect it to be around 120Kbps-190Kbps (of course it can be lower too I thought 384kbps is when using 3G and EDGE is only 2.75G? |

Soon this thread will be moved to its own dedicated sub-forum: http://forum.lowyat.net/DiGiBroadband
Yes, DiGi Broadband has sponsored LYN for that specific sub-forum. DiGi will have their representatives to answer to your queries on that sub-forum. That's so far the information I got from the higher authority. |

QUOTE(ks98 @ Jul 21 2009, 08:23 AM) Let me starts with a question to Digi... For DiGi billing matter, you usually need to wait for around 10-12 days. So it is normal anyway. Why Jul bill for my Digi BB is still not ready? It's already 7 days after my billing date... This post has been edited by fruitie: Jul 21 2009, 09:06 AM |

QUOTE(Azlan96 @ Jul 21 2009, 03:41 PM) Do you think I can get DiGi signal?? Probably can. ![]() Digi should cover ALL area in KL/Selangor first before going to other place.. Well, everything is done concurrently, not like when it expands to KK and Penang, it has abandoned coverage expansion in Klang Valley. It expands its coverage in these 3 places simultaneously. |

QUOTE(ks98 @ Jul 21 2009, 04:43 PM) Of course, i have already checked it via OCS but the bill is still not ready... Yes, you need to wait 10-12 days for the bill to be ready on OCS.I think one of the reason for Digi to sponsor this special thread is to better serve customer, so would appreciate those Digi personnel can identify themselves via their signature or etc... So that we know the answer is from Digi but not from customer (or speculation from customer)... In addition, they have problem with this month's billing. So be patient, I just got my figure rectified. QUOTE(kuntilanak @ Jul 21 2009, 04:45 PM) Have been using DIGI BB for 1 month plus. So far ao good. The http DL speed mostly reaching 1Mbps... Yeah, they are having problem with this month's billing, system error. I haven't try any other BB services, and I don't think I ever will switch away... (assuming this kind of great service from DIGI BB continues...) Well done, DigiFolks. p.s. I received an SMS lately from DIGI regarding the July bill will be delayed for about 2 more weeks. I wonder why... |
