may i ask digi is using dynamic ip or shared ip?

anyone try torrenting with digi before? any feedback?

how about online gaming? eg: ggclient, hows the ping?

might change to digi after this, the replies here is tempting.

i sign up to digi broadband the other day eventhough my house is not under official coverage..just outside of the range less than 1km only.
luckily my house is pretty much under coverage...full bar reception for 3.5G.

Wireless network will limit your BT torrents especially during peak hours.

you have to wait 2-3 days. I was happen to me before.
Now digi still not able to let us check our usage on real time. We can only able to view the usage when come to billing date.
We will able to view the bill after 3 -5 day after billing date.

Hi,
I'm an agent for Digi Broadband. I'm here to let you know actually we do have a place for you to check your usage for every day and every month. It just that this servise is still under development. If you want to check your usage. When you open your Digi Internet. You can see on your top there is 4 Icon. The second one is statistic right? When you click it. You can check your usage. You have to reset your statistic every month in order to keep track your usage. You can reset your statistic by right click your mouse on any of the left hand side bar. Then you will there is an option for reset statistic. Click on it and you ready to go for another month. I hope this can help you to keep track your data usage.

hmm this only work if u only use on 1 pc..
if u use on multiple pc..then it cant track as the data is store in pc not in the modem itself....
for me i use 3 pc ..2 in house and 1 in office tongue.gif

yes, this is not the right way to track the usage if using more than 1 PC.
I use my modem for 3 PCs. So i have to combine it, calculate, not a good idea.
Hopefully digi will launch this function online asap.

if online gaming...under edge speed also work fine as u still can get 250kbps++
but for torrenting...depend how much u willing to pay....
for me under RM48 package is consider very good for torrenting and gaming
after 3gb download u still having edge speed which is faster than celcom and maxi which offer around 128kbps....

i hope digi will maintain the quality of service ...not deteriorate when many users subscribed to their service like any other telcos.

for the time being, i'm a satisfied digi broadband customer.

do you have any idea what is the cheapest router for usb 3g modem?? i haven't terminate my maxis bb yet since i don't have the 3G router to share the internet connection in my house.

Yes you need to pay Rm0.15 for every 10mb
But the maximum you can pay is RM138 after that you will get connect with DIGI EDGE.
