recently, i got disconnection issue very frequently when I use Digi BB at 8pm - 12am. Called the customer service and was told this is expected... sad.gif

I have been using Digi BB since the first day it launched in Penang and would say it's way better than other ISP... hopefully, this issue can be fixed quickly by Digi network team.

My location Bayan Lepas, PG

i have been using Digi bb since the first day it come to PG, the quality has been degraded nowadays...

called their customer service and also given the same answer, "your area got too many subscribers"... By telling me you got many subscribers at my area is meaningless to me... unless you tell me that i got 1% commission for every subscribers. The answer i want is "Sir, the congestion issue at your area will be solved in 1 month from now, until then you will enjoy a free broadband from us to compensate all the inconvenience due to this"...

But, i still get the same useless answer every time i call them nowadays... "Your area is too congested, your area got too many ppl using digi bb, etc"...

Digi really have to do a better job on this... am searching for other ISP now

my situation has improved... but, still not as good as last time where i can get ~1Mbps consistently... nowadays, the speed fluctuated as low as <100kbps - <700kbps...

hard to get 1Mbps consistently now, even the promised average 700kbps is also kind of hard to achieve during peak hour... but, digi plays a good trick that this is average speed throughout the entire service period and it's hard to get this kind of data from users' perspective.

Turtle is still turtle, even if shell is removed... At the beginning, it may move faster without shell, but eventually (probably getting tired), it'll still go back to old way... this is called habit.

if u expect wireless broadband as good as wired broadband then u're wrong, it is meant to use as alternative 1, still digi provides me sufficient bandwidth for net surfing, i have to give thumbs up to them.  thumbup.gif

Personally, i agree that wired could do better than wireless but that should not be an excuse for not providing a quality service and compromising this kind of inconsistent service may bring a long term negative impact to overall broadband market standard in the country.

truly frustrated now... may start to look for alternative now. Anybody know a reliable broadband service provider at Bayan Lepas area? Streaymx is my last options, unless no choice.

I'm not a heavy downloader and never exceeded my monthly quota since using Digi for >15 months...

i've lost my confidence over Digi BB already... will jump to YTL on 19/11/10 but still give Digi a chance to improve until end of Nov before i terminate it.

Have been with Digi since the first day it came to PG... too bad, the quality doesn't last long...

Yes, it's depend on location but this is not a good excuse for Digi to NOT provide a stable BB quality at urban area...

u hv bad exp with digi bb. i just want to try digi bb. may be u can share a bit abt it.

Yes, it depends on your location and number of Digi users at your location. My location is Bayan Lepas (near Sg Nibong in PG).

If you already have 3G modem/phone, then i think no harm if you really want to try since Digi doesn't have contract.

I also terminated my Digi BB 3 days ago... among the first subscribers when Digi came to PG 1 year+ ago, but at the end, i gave up. Now, a streamyx subscriber, my last choice...
