Put all files in the attached farchive in tpa/preset/custom and turn on the phone, it will be installed automaticlly.

Well, I think we can have and improve on software, skill, environment, creativity etc. but if you get the wrong hardware (sensor, lens) in the first place, none of it matters as it limits your phone's capability

Well, originally I couldn't find the jad/jar files since none could be extracted from a CID53 phone, only by generating a .bin file (by using CodeClaw DB3210 CID53 File Xtractor 2.0) I would be able to flash it to my W995 with A2U. Got the .bin files from here

The file in the link contains facebook aplication and twitter appz..
The .bin file in the link is not generated by jock's extractor. Its just a zip archive renamed as .bin

We can extract file from CID53 phone as long as it is BLUE or BROWN. And the facebook apzz I uploaded in the previous post is the latest one you can get. I downloaded it from Emma and it have valid cert.

Nope, not Jock's extractor, CodeClaw is the one I know. Mine is RED cert and no one I knew could help me extract since theirs were RED as well and were not willing to pay to convert so flashing the .bin file was a brilliant solution at the time

jock is one who release application by the name of CodeClaw. CodeClaw is their site's name

hi! im planning to get a w995.. read up a lot about the modding part!

wana ask a few questions:
1. one i get the phone from the shop & i want 2 start modding, do i need to change RED cert to BROWN?

2. any tutorials so far? links are appreciated!

No you don't have to convert if you can obtain the original files first before modding/replacing them just in case you want to revert back the stock files. The thing about RED cert is, you can write files on your phone but you can't read them meaning you can't copy/move files FROM the phone but you can do that TO the phone. So it's pretty much a one way thing with RED certs

I'm sure blacklizard has lots of those modding links
