whats the difference between Sr. and Ir.?

already submitted my resume via career fair last month to petronas..still waiting for their job interview..hoping some good news for me soon..huhu

I also trying to call and email directly to their senior exec HR. And until now still no news.

Below is my email to them...

As per tele-conversation just now, please be inform that i already attended the Structural Interview(SI) dated 29 July 2011. And few weeks after that, Ms. xxxxx (xxxx) from HRM & Capability Division, PETRONAS D&P,PCSB  informed that i passed the SI. She also mentioned the position that will be offered to me (PMU, Project Development, Shallow Water & Acid Gas). And also mentioned that she will prepare the offer letter for me.

After few weeks, I tried to call Ms. xxxx back, and sadly she mentioned that other person already fill in my position (PMU, Project Development, Shallow Water & Acid Gas). And until now, i still didn't receive any news and waiting for the placement with Petronas.

on 29 July 2011. I already give up with this company and luckily i got another offer from UK based company.
Thanks God.

Sh*t just got serious!

One can only wonder why such a distinguished and reputable company like Petronas has this kind of incompetent person in their HR department.



ps: maybe bro Azraeil wanna give some intel on this one?

Petronas is the only company want to interview me even though I got a 3rd class degree. other company reject bulat2... kekeke

the HR that called me to attend SI is from downstream business unit (PETH). does it means that I'm interviewing for a downstream position?  I'm more interested in upstream.. 

Sr. stands for Professional Surveyor
Ir. stands for Professional Engineer
Ar. stands for Professional Architect

If I were you bro, I'd make a noise so that Ms. xxxx will remember my name for as long as she works for Petronas.
