And the Petronas HR also really suck..I already passed the SI and got the position for me.
Just waiting for them to prepare my offer letter. After few weeks follow up back and then they told my position already given to another candidate.

How come that happen if not using SUBMARINE CABLE.

That make me didn't respect HR Petronas anymore. Really not professional for a big company like Petronas.

I also trying to call and email directly to their senior exec HR. And until now still no news.

Below is my email to them...

As per tele-conversation just now, please be inform that i already attended the Structural Interview(SI) dated 29 July 2011. And few weeks after that, Ms. xxxxx (xxxx) from HRM & Capability Division, PETRONAS D&P,PCSB informed that i passed the SI. She also mentioned the position that will be offered to me (PMU, Project Development, Shallow Water & Acid Gas). And also mentioned that she will prepare the offer letter for me.

After few weeks, I tried to call Ms. xxxx back, and sadly she mentioned that other person already fill in my position (PMU, Project Development, Shallow Water & Acid Gas). And until now, i still didn't receive any news and waiting for the placement with Petronas.

I also didn't know why this happen to me. Before this i didn't believe if we want to join Petronas, need to use CABLE BESAR.
Now i believe since it already happen to me...haha

Maybe another 2 or 3 years. Currently already got 2 years experience in design. And starting next month, i'll join EPCC company and hopefully can get my site/field experience.

My friend got his Ir. with only 4 years of experience. One of the youngest Ir. that i know.

I'm not using Log Book scheme since my superior is P.Eng(Ir.)

That's normal practice in Petronas. After you pass the chitchat session, they will calling you for Structural Interview (SI) .
