Lens dirty, get a technician open it up and clean it...

First connect your phone with the usb cable to the PC and set the phone into mass storage(data transfer) mode, or for older phones you can put the memory card in a card reader. Start the setup program you have downloaded and install the files into your memory card


When the files have been transfered, go to your phone and using its file manager, look for the sis file appropriate to your symbian system and click on it to install. My Garmin folder for a Nokia N82 S60 system looks like this, after all the other unnecessary files have been deleted



When you start the program you will be faced with a screen like this:



Go to SETTING - SYSTEM - REMOTE GPS - choose USE ATTACHMENT/BUILT-IN GPS

ENABLE it then click DONE...

from what i can see..that's not dead pixels but rather the camera problem...maybe dust inside

yeah, i think dead pixel won't result like that..

Try to wipe it and see the dot gone or not? If not then consult mobile specialist for inner lens deed cleaning...

thanks u guys.. im damn scare it will cost me a boom price.. i will go to Telstra by next monday... hope they just clean the lens for me.. then the problem will gone.. tat method posted by jason... tat method is just for cleaning outside surface oni.. now the dust is inside the lens.. anyways.. still thx u to provide a method... btw.. how is the TELSTRA service ?? im worry about they need LONG LONG time to service... ==..

haha..welcome..it also can use to wipe the dirt on the lens..but dunoe work or not...
the better way is take to technician to clean for u la...

True, camera lense are delicate item, once scratch, habis, so bring to professional for cleaning

if you've cleaned the outer cover then the dust must be inside

Is very obvious now is inner lens dirty not outside... Just wonder how it become like that???

ok good nite everyone.
today is a very fullfilling day for me, that day i went to a fren house and see his house got WIFI.

so today, i went to shop and buy D-Link wireless router to do myself WIFI at home. Not easy leh, need to set up many things.
Now, i can use my notebook wifi no need the lan cable, and also my N82 can go internet using wifi oledi. Fulfilling day for me

up until now, i always tot ngage game is utilizing the 3D engine
but the fact is... nope... as of current
no wonder TS always complain ngage game lagging

dont worry, nokia is planning to release N-Gage SDK (OpenGL) in their next version

the good news is... only current N Series line up (N93, N93i, N95, N958Gb and N82) will able to enjoy this feature
the bad news is... how many year hv to wait? mayb have to wait until N100

manufacturing defect or dust fell on the lens during assembly.

even n96 do not have?

Guys.... which one of you are using the "HarloOS" aheming method? Cause I want to try aheming now... need soem guide tho...

The main gist of it is, get an unused cigarette's filter part (orange part), tear off the paper wrap on the outside, use the soft material inside to wipe it.

Just translating it, I've never try it before.

Although sometimes I'll just use a corner of a cotton cloth, make it a lil moist (not wet) and lightly stick the dust up.

But since it seems to be inside the lens, I wonder if it's due to the weather...
