QUOTE(raining again @ Feb 16 2009, 12:02 AM) i cant use it to find my lost security pass code. anyone any idea ? it found mine phone and did everything but just dont generate the pm file Yes you can, follow the guide below...1. Connect your phone in PC Suite mode 2. Open Nemesis Service suite (NSS) 3. Then click on scan for new devices button (top right hand side) 4. Click on phone info button. 5. Now Click on Scan. 6. Select Permanent Memory. 7. Click on Read. 8. It will read the permanent memory file and save it on the disk at following path. C:\Program Files\NSS\Backup\pm\<IMEI>.pm 9. Open the .pm file using Notepad. 10. Now scroll until field [308], and on the 5th Record (5=) your security code is saved at there. 11. Like 5=31313131310000000000 12. Remove all “3” digit and it will be 31313131310000000000 13. 11111 is your security code. 14. Done!! |

Guys, do you know how to set up Outlook Express email on the phone without using a 3rd party application?
I remembered doing it on my Nokia N95 solely using the proprietary email in the phone, but now I don't remember how! Outlook Express (work email), not Gmail, I already have Gmail in the phone. Thanks in advance! |

anyone got any recommendation for good 3rd party software for a "normal" n82
also is 8gb class 6 available in the market yet ? or the max is class 4 ? and how much does class 4/6 cost about ? someone introduced me to a "Ultra" class for the fastest type of MICRO SDHC, anyone got any idea? thanks This post has been edited by asdzxc: Feb 16 2009, 01:27 PM |

QUOTE(blinky @ Feb 16 2009, 11:08 AM) Guys, do you know how to set up Outlook Express email on the phone without using a 3rd party application? OE is just a mail client. It depends on your work email is using what server. POP or IMAP (MSExchange). The process of setting up the work email is similiar to setting up Gmail in N82 messaging/email, but just different type of server.I remembered doing it on my Nokia N95 solely using the proprietary email in the phone, but now I don't remember how! Outlook Express (work email), not Gmail, I already have Gmail in the phone. Thanks in advance! I got both my gmail and work email setup also. Added on February 16, 2009, 1:44 pm QUOTE(asdzxc @ Feb 16 2009, 01:22 PM) Your question is too vague. It is like asking what is a good choice of subject to study in college/uni. Tell us what you want to do ? Games/Work ? What type of software apps ? You can refer pg.1 of all compiled list that are recommended for N82 users. QUOTE(asdzxc @ Feb 16 2009, 01:22 PM) also is 8gb class 6 available in the market yet ? or the max is class 4 ? and how much does class 4/6 cost about ? Yes, 8GB SDHC Class 6 for about RM75-80someone introduced me to a "Ultra" class for the fastest type of MICRO SDHC, anyone got any idea? thanks 16GB SDHC Class 2 only so far. I think the Ultra micro-SDHC is referring to high-speed read/write access, which is basically a Class 4 or 6 instead of normal Class 2.
