i want to get a new headphone, for music purpose.
budget around rm150, max is rm200...
can recommend me the best headphone at this price range?
i tried hd201 and is pretty good already...any other headphone?

Hi all... I'm new to this headphone/earphone world...yesterday received my SHP2700, next week perhaps i got my Fiio 5. Izzit a good combination? I just jump into conclusion n buy stuff w/o much knowledge. I read till page 5 when my eyes oredi kenot tahan...plus my brain kenot digest :-P.

I listen to my PC (ALC888 only, no discreet soundcard), or perhaps my SEK810i modded wit W880 sound driver n adapter from my sister's W200i earphone

Get HD 201 is good enough..Has good sound quality, and many people got that, satisfied, and left audiophile stuffs..haha..

I'm selling my HD 201 for 75RM...Not posted on any thread yet, but will do later..Just if you're interested..

If only either you post this earlier or I held on buying my headphone

Spent too much oredi, bought 1TB + 500GB hdd, SHP2700 % Fiio E5...plus travel from Johor to Perlis & Langkawi during raya (bought a lot from Langkawi but only pay RM20 tax )... If not I surely buy your HD 201

if u need something better than HD201 for home usage, get a beyer DT231

Both are good with almost any type of music. The only difference being the M30 is more neutral (balanced) sounding while DT231 sounds warmer (a bit emphasized on bass).

my friend bought hd202 and i think i need better headphone that worth for the money..hehe

I'm looking for a headphone, not earphone, for my usage. New user here who never use a headphone before, only using iPod stock earphone.

Application: Listen to music, FLAC file format. Genre mostly pop. A bit of rock. Web chat via instant messaging. Note: A mic is optional for the web chat. The headphone will be plugged into the on board audio of my laptop.

Budget: GBP 50 (i.e. MYR 300 at the exchange rate of GBP 1 = MYR 6, being a bit more conservative). Planning to get it from Amazon UK.

Brand: Any brand should be fine, e.g. Sony, Sennheiser, Philips, Bose etc.

Generally, I only need a value headphone with reasonable balance between bass and treble. Also, it must be comfortable over long period of use. Gold plated connector is preferable.

i've earlier purchased the Senn HD201...very good pair of headphone...i've also posted earlier re my problem - cable not long enough bot cheapo ext cable but killed the volume...forumer here advise i try using Fiio E3 headphone amp

i bot the fiio E3 (el cheapo) and i tried...works perfectly with new mini-to-mini custom cable..then its left in a box for alomost a month...i tried the fiioE3 again today with my other earphone playing music on my iphone...and here's the problem...

whenever i turn up the volume, to say 70%, all i can hear is crackling sound & noise...the actual music is almost completely lost! its fine if i turn the volume down to abnout 50% but i deemed that not loud enough...

at forst i tot my cheapo earphone kong already...i came home tried switching with my HD201...same problem...tried playing music from my notebook instead of iphone...even worse...notebook volume was below 40 & itunes' less than half already the crackling sound appears...again its fine if i turn the volume down

do i have a faulty fiioE3 or am i missing something? should i try going for the E5 instead?
pls help
