It is 100% authentic.

Replica jerseys for that season (1990-1992) and season in the past have embossed adidas trefoil logos. The player issue ones instead have embroidered adidas trefoil logo.. That is 100% authentic, no worries..

You bought it in ebay? That's a great catch btw...

thanks, schmike, the embossed adidas logo from mine is different from the one with redscorpion, that is why i confused. May b i try to upload the picture clearer with comparison with my another adidas shirt.

not sure worth or not, auction ended at £28, plus postage is about £35, however it was in size XL for youth if i not mistaken, the label stated 34-36 inches smile.gif smile.gif

XiuKeong,
Depends on your washing methods. If you're gonna bleach and tumble dry your jersey each time you wear it, i can safely say you're gonna wreck it. If you take care, go for the gentle machine wash or even hand wash with mild soap, i don't see why can't you wear them few times per month. But bear in mind, the usual wear and tear will take place.

On the other hand, i had the 'priviledge' of owning the first batch of Arsenal 06/08 home kit which after 4-5 wash, the FLY EMIRATES sponsor started to peel. Then i got info from here that the first batch Arsenal kits had some adhesive problems and Nike offered to exchange the jerseys to the new batch ones. Of coz i got mine from R1 and there was no such warranty.

Thanks for the info. I only think to use hand wash and dry it under the sun. Can?

avoid the sun if possible. just hand wash then spin dry in the washing machine then hang up in your room. it will dry in a while.

Avoid leaving the jersey under the sun.. This will help crack the PU type sponsors.

You can spin dry it and iron it... but be careful when ironing it.. don't iron direct on top of the printed sponsors, nameset etc etc.. read the guide I prepared in the first page (as usual.. to newbies.. already stated in the thread's topic... please read 1st page to see R&R and faq).

i'm planning to do a bulk order for Arsenal away jersey from arsenal.com since it's 50% off now. want to ask if there's anything i should pay attention to or be careful with the bulk order.

i'm quite sure i read somewhere in here something about being careful with the custom when doing a bulk order. something about extra charges applied for the customer when the order reach Malaysia. but i could not find it in the topic. so requesting advice from all the taikos. thanks ya

To be on the safer side, you should stick to accept total order of no more than invoice value of RM 400, although generally the max value set by the customs is RM 500.

Weight plays an integral part too, if its heavy it gets taxed too.

Good luck bulking!

Pay attention on the shipping method. The best safest way is to ensure that the item is sent at least using a signature service (must be signed for by the recipient). Worst come to worst is using Royal Mail International Signed For, which is the equivalent to Pos Daftar in Pos Malaysia. If this is used, at least this is the safest way because Pos Malaysia liaises with Royal Mail UK when a shipped item is sent to and from UK using either Royal Mail or Pos Daftar. 2 different tracking codes will be used (one from Royal Mail and another from Pos Malaysia) to tie the tracking movement of any item.

Another safer way is to use courier such as UPS or DHL. But this is a bit costly.

From what I read in the arsenal.com online store:

QUOTE
P&P Rates    Rest of the World
Under £20  £10.00
Over £20  £18.00

Important: On Europe/Rest of World orders the customer is liable to pay any import duty and any taxes that may be requested.
Non UK orders over 2kg's may incur additional postal costs. You will be notified of any additional costs before despatch. On customer consent your credit card will be charged any additional fees.

ALL Europe/Rest of World orders over 2kg’s will be sent by courier. Any parcels weighing less than 2kg's, sent to a destination that we deem at risk of losing the parcel, will be sent by courier.

Your shipping fee might be £18.00.

If the order is above 2kg, definitely will use courier. But please don't make it above that, for sure you will be taxed because 1 jersey is around 0.3kg (approximately) so imagine how many jerseys are that!

The safe rule is to buy 3 jerseys (most). Ensure that the total price (including shipping) is not more than RM400.. If exceed.. there is a slight risk.. If it is more than RM500.. then you might get taxed. (Mods.. don't worry, I've confirmed this with Malaysian Customs and it is legal to share this info to the public. The customs are happy that we know the general rule).

But as always....... these rules does not 100% guarantee you that you will be taxed. If you are taxed, then it will happen. But try to avoid the risk.
