That looks cotton to me. If Man Utd were to wear that next year, it would have to be those lightweight material currently used.

re keanzteoh, u have to email them for availability and price. then after confirmation, payment is by paypal. they will send by EMS.
re air_mood, classicfootballshirts is one of the more reputable sites around, Not cheap though. YUou need to email them for confirmation if they send shirts to Malaysia and how much. Last i checked i think it was GBP10 - 12 for 2 shirts IIANM. |

QUOTE(schmeichel7 @ Feb 28 2009, 03:21 PM) Emud emud.. Heheh, just to confirm. The site's name it Classic Football Shirts..the site address is www.footballshirts.dk .....not uk. Asked Aaron earlier and he was confused in regards to the dk and uk as well. I do know that UK ones are reliable. The ones at dk are closing down and having a clearance sale, everything to go at 50% off...hence why I'm asking in regards to their reliability.Yes they are very reliable.. They can sent to you via Royal Mail normal airmail or registered mail. Payment can be done via paypal. This post has been edited by air_mood: Mar 1 2009, 04:36 PM |

Hi all, I have a doubt wanted to clarify for all this time:
Does 1996-2000 UCL starball = 2000-2003 UCL starball? Any differences? |

QUOTE(akkmutd0711 @ Mar 1 2009, 08:09 PM) Hi all, I have a doubt wanted to clarify for all this time: I just did a research at my-fjc forum regarding this matter... My research might not be 100% accurate... so I am willing to listen to any advice on this matter..Does 1996-2000 UCL starball = 2000-2003 UCL starball? Any differences? From my research.. this was the UCL patch used from 1996 to 2003: ![]() But during one season (season 2000-2001), Manchester United and other teams in the UCL used this rare dark silver UCL starball (dark silver compared to the normal shiny white): ![]() I might be wrong..... but I am 100% sure that it was used during the 2000-2001 season. Why? I am not sure, maybe because it was the millenium season? But to prove my statement, take a look at these photos taken during the UCL 2000-2001 season: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « My guess... is that on the 2000-2001 season, they used the dark silver version of the UCL starball. continued..
Now how about 2001-2002 season? » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Well look at the patch.. looks bright right? How about 1999-2000 season? » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « The patch also looks bright right? |

And 1998-1999 treble season? » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Also patches looks bright...How about the 1997-1998 season? » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Looks bright as well... Finally the 1996-1997: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Looks bright to me as well..... So to conclude my research... I believe that this rare UCL starball with dark silver layer was used only during season 2000-2001. Why? I am not sure.. maybe because it was on the millenium year perhaps? |
