by usb i mean not only the usb on pc but also usb thru car cig lighter & home power outlet. can also right? the reason for this is to eliminate too many kinds of chargers that i need to bring with me

i never see a sonyericsson's car charger before this

thru car cig lighter i think its not possible through the default ones. u may have to buy a specific in-car charger for that purpose

so conclusion is.. this phone cannot charge thru generic car cig lighter & power outlet with USB slot, but can charge thru PC USB via software? gotta look elsewhere then..

No la, of course there's a car ciggie charger for any SE phone, been using me one for ages now. Dunno how it came to the conclusion there's no car charger for the SE phones It charges really fast, even faster than default charger but make sure you get the ori one lar. I have 2 units but never use the other one since I got it bundled with my previous coz not ori, don't wanna take the chance

I see, it's a bit confusing because no SE phone (except X1) or feature phone
