i like the camera,
but no gps... no syiok..

with gps, at least i can do more with it.. like measure jogging distance, top speed..

i bring my c702 when i go jogging,
can plot real time jogging route, calculate real time speed etc..

can oso use it to measure top speed of ur car..

that's why lack of gps in this phone really a turn down for me

earlier today, i went to my local phone shop.

AP price for C901 is RM980.00, without memory.
and the phone got no tattoo.

so expensive for a phone that only has 5MP. no gps, no wifi, no front camera also.

ya, good choice if u aim for camera.. i can say it's the best from all SE "C" models.
The Green Heart ppl say the built quality looks so cheap.

(ya, of course from recycle plastic, thus the name Green Heart)

if u want great built quality, go for C902.

it got xenon.

and some users did compare both images,
turns out C901 capture slightly better pic in lowlight conditions.

plus, color rendering is good also, especially red tones.. which C902 had problems with (slightly pinkish)

paint problem is normal, but C902 is metal body right?
so it's sturdy than C901 plastic..

rm1150 for original set.

is the price ok?

will buy from that shop if the price go below rm1k.

yep, just bought it for my mum (using her money lah hehe)

RM760.00 but no M2 and cable..

if compare to my crappy C702,
can say like "langit dan bumi"

Xenon flash abit weak, but still can handle pics nicely lah,

usually Xenon flash when it discharge, got "CHAK CHAK" sound rite?
in C901, the sound not that loud.. hence the weaker flash i guess..



I've read some comments on esato, saying that the flash is abit weaker than N82. (yeap, i admit that)

as long as it dont washed out the pics, it should be okay for me..

C910 is her second phone,
using HYC simpack under my name...
she still learning to use SE,

what a coincident my C702 rosak at the same time, so i use the new phone and new number 1st lah..

C901 LCD brightness pretty much like K850 (yellowish when it should be white color and abit dimmer than my C702)

My C702 produce better color and brightness.. what u see is what u get.. hehehe

C510 camera is actually the same with C702, so I know what you mean, I also own C702..

So if u ask me, C901 handles night shots very good,
let say if you want to take macro shots (example the carrot juice picture in my previous post)

even if you turned off flash, the small LED will still turn on to assist focus.. thats why the focus is so correct and spot on... focus time is blazingly fast also, can say like; you can take two shots from C901 while C702 still saving the first shot..


if u dont need wifi, gps, front camera, C901 is for you.

while this is taken using night lanscape

it eats more light by having longer shutter speed,
mind you i dont put the phone on any stable surface, i just hold it with my hands, hence the blur..

forgot to tell you

C901 sms tone is longer than previous SE phone it's 10 seconds now..

*sorry if i'm slowpoke, i dunno about other SE 2009 phone, whether longer sms tone or not, but C901 is confirm 10 seconds long*
