no la.
ok, the xenon location part also contribute to red-eye..

because the angle of flash light path reflected to eyes is smaller..

refer diagram i draw..

AFAIK, the way red eye reduction works is the flash gives an initial burst so that our pupils constrict beforehand and reflect less light when the actual flash fires which then reduces the red eye effect. There are other controlling factors that determine the efficiency of red eye reduction such as distance from the subject and intensity of the initial burst.

Surprisingly ... No...but as pakhusin said, even this option is not available, it still takes great shots, what will happen if this option is available???

Added on August 22, 2009, 11:41 amGuys, help...now my phone is connected in Media Transfer mode. After I done my things, I want to disconnect it now but I can't see any USB disconnect option in my PC. (This is different in Mass Storage Mode, where we can see a USB disconnect option)

In this situation, how should I do? Disconnect the USB cable directly?

In my PC, my Computer shows my C901 as "portable media device".

Without image stabilizer...taken in dim light (just using in-car's illumination lamp) and this is the result.

This is ... definitely not C901's job..haha...it's my ex...C510

Added on August 22, 2009, 2:04 pmYesterday night, my friend tried to play around, and asked me to take a picture of her while she was walking ... it was at a dark lane.

I feel very nervous and took out my C901 .. Katcha! The Xenon-flash fired and a brilliant photo came out...no blur, no noise! I couldn't imagine that situation with my C510, which I predict it will have difficulty in auto-focusing and yet came out unacceptable photo.

C901 saved my day!

A2uploader should work fine with all A2 fones, tried with my W902 and it worked a treat. No need to use it on my current fone now coz it's damn good with the latest fw. On another note, to all those concerned about the absence of image stabilizer for still pics, frankly i've tried many times to find the difference by switching it on & off but couldn't find any in my last 2 fones. Image stabilizer for video does make a difference though. Just curious, do you have that in C901?

Yeah.. C901 has video stabilizer...

Anyway, I reviewed back pakhusin's information and I found that C905 also having flash just right above the lens, I wonder C905 users face red eye problem frequently? But, what is the small compartment beside the flash of C905? Is it the red beam found on digital cams to reduce red eye?

Haha...because I have had enough shame when friends asked me to take their picture as I keep telling them my phone is a Cybershot phone previously. All photos came out terribly.

Now, with C901, I won't feel that already. Hehehe... rclxms.gif
