Oh well i did install the 3D task manager. Well i've flashed to the latest HX-V3-16...
1) well it really slows down alot compare to the 2.11 speed version once you've familiarise with the speed version
2) the response also seems slower compare to speed version
3) yes you can back up all your info before you flash... Must do that. I didn't do for the first time and all my phone contacts in phone memory gone! just back up using the Samsung PC studio software and restore once you're done with the flashing.

Overall, i don't see much different though but just feel the speed is sloooooooooow in response and the gallery browser that browse the pix are very slow too compare to the speed version... i think i might go back to the speed version which not much complain except for sudden hang.

I had 2 times hang on this HX-V3 within 1 days after flashing... it didn't happen to the 2.11 speed version, at least not so soon.

Pix? well i also feel not much different. Dunno maybe not an expert to comment on that tongue.gif

Hi bro, for phone restore, does it restore 100% of phone setting and data like when you backup them? Just curious...

haha... Yea... now i really getting a bit fedup with the new version.

Imagine when i hang up the phone call, i press the hang up button, it took about 2-4 seconds to get back to the screen. Really slow and the transition from main menu to SMS or the menus, really slow down alot if you've used to speed version.

Back to your question whether is it 100%, well i can't really tell but from my back up, i back up the phone sms, contacts, content such as video, pictures, all restore to exactly like before you flash and even the games that you've installed... but funny thing is, not the Garmin.

Oh talk about garmin, the installation now also slows down alot. I took me more than 2 minutes for the phone to response to install it. Speed version, after pressing install, immediately it'll response whether to continue. So guys, if you're used to speed version, you won't like this v3-16 version... at least that happens to me because i don't see much different up until now.

eh... not yet tested the recording though on this firmware.. let me try and see...

Added on March 19, 2010, 11:16 pmOk. just tested a 40 second recording... well, let's put it this way, you hear so called the noise in video recording but the audio is very sharp and clear. I was also quite surprise... the older firmware recording is not as sharp as this after comparing. Older one not so clear... that's a plus point for this new firmware.
