no idea on photo browser.. after got kinetic scrolling much more easier.. the ori browser is good enuf with kinetic.. dont need wait Msia IG3 la.. wait till 2020 also dont know will out or not.. flash to HyperX firmware! hehe.. it's alrdy out!! HX2.1 Speed edition!

Is the HyperX 2.1 comes with chinese support? can't read chinese after flash to 2.02 version... huhuh... but overall it's working great at the moment.

not sure.. but the firmware is based on Taiwan JB2 so most probably can view chinese.. i tried ask in HX site but no reply.. i'm waitng to c is there any bug fix then only i'll flash..

Hey thanks 13579. Just curious do you install Garmin into the phone? I manage to get the 5.00.5 up and running in my phone but it seems like cannot get any signal. Secondly I do not know how to load map into it... any sifus here know how?

Just downloaded and flash my phone to the latest HyperX firmware. Below are some difference from the version i used earlier (HX2.02)

Pros

1) Response is faster
2) Smoother transition between pages (from menu to menu)
3) Java application, e.g. games, runs better and faster, no more breaking bad picture

Cons
4) If you looking for sliding from main screen to the menu (right) and to the photo contact (left), it's also no longer available.
5) If you would like to use the 3D tast manager, you need to install that patch manually that comes together in the download package
6) Cannot support Chinese language (13579, for your info).

So far this is what I've tested. So far so good and the speed is really FAST! Will try to load in Garmin and see whether is it working on this version since i can't make it work on the previous version (can't get any signal)... Till then...

thanks for the info brainpower bro.. i saw in a reply from HyperX is that the Chinese support is not impossible n most probably will be available soon. Hopefully it will come in the nxt firmware.. sigh.. only left to Chinese support to be perfect.

to VIEW chinese character, u can use my tutorial in few pages back. i u can use day hand input to write chinese .

use iSMS, for map, u can use *ahem* garmin + malfreemaps

bro.. i'd also tried the step advsd by Hyperx but can't also.. installed the milkman keybrd cant work.. install TT-pod with chinese support also can't work.. the phone will show weird symbol or "box" for chinese text.. by the way can u repeat again ur steps pls?
