Then let me know if you can snuff in the A/V acble next to the HDMI cable then. This is the easiest way to solve your problem. The VGA cable comes with the audio cable as well. Unless you want to go out the extra mile to find those extremely rare flat Xbox 360 A/V cables that can fit into the A/C port when a HDMI cable is used. Or if you're willing to mod the back of your 360 to make the space wider instead.

Gameplay quality has no bloody co-relation to how good it'll be regardless of what cable you are using. Why? Because it depends on how the developers create the game. If they make it shitty, theres not a damn thing you can do to make it better other than to twist your psycology upside down. Second, If you meant image quality on screen... HDMI and HDMI-DVI is essentially the same, bar that HDMI-DVI has no audio source. VGA won't have as much of a vibrance in colors and perhaps some says, clarity and sharpness. Third. Next time, please.... type in proper english with a sentence that humans understand.

I would recommend Samsung LCD T240 FullHD. Works perfectly fine with Sony's PS3 and Microsoft XBox 360. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

Specs bit letdown. I have to admit that. But the premium design offsets the minor drawbacks. Spot on with the price. The price didn't drop much and that's a plus for Samsung.
Anyway, I heard this Samsung LCD T240 is of premium design and came in limited units. Not sure if this is true...Anyway, the newer Samsung LCD models look plasticky. definitely not made of glass+piano finishing.

And another problem is 1920 x 1200.. meaning you'd get 23" out from it if displaying on 16:9. I also love the design, and I once considered getting that but no stock that time. It was great at that time, but now too much competitions from others.

QUOTE(alip5225 @ Aug 4 2009, 10:17 PM) haha.. what do u mean by that? A joke loses it's momentum if you have to explain it. Basically you asked for the quality and lifespan, so I asked you to PM me back in 3 years time, because a good indicator of quality and lifespan is if the item lasts beyond the warranty period without losing any of it's special features. So if in 3 years time, you PM'ed me and I reply back saying the monitor died already, means it's no quality and poor lifespan. Get it?

Hello. I've just bought the NEW LG W2261V LCD MONITOR 21.5 that has FULL HD HDMI for my xbox 360 for only RM599 at IT hypermarket, Low Yat Plaza.
The problem is, I have no idea why it has NO SOUND? It just me or because of HDMI cable I mean did I bought the wrong one (it costs only RM49 in a same shop)?

For XBox 360 I think you need a special cable to allow audio output if using HDMI....

Prototype (360) can only use 'fake' 7.1 if using HDMI cable.
