QUOTE(bezet @ Feb 16 2009, 01:20 PM)
Well guys. I'm confortable with the old raleigh sit, the type with a parit in the centre. Ride it for like 4hours without serious numbness.. while the Merida stock saddle is the type without any parit.. ride it for 10 minutes already numb... even after on the road seat adjustment, still persist... maybe its time for me to visit my LBS and look around.
*
What moorish meant is that the geometry of your old raleigh and merida differs so you have to take that into account. I have a parit type sit that's comfy on my folding bike but totally hopeless ball-squisher on HeBe.

Try to adjust fore-aft of your saddle to rest on your assbone first and try again before getting a squisher.

i m only using a YZ Scott saddle for my DH rig...
its sufficient enough for me as i hardly sit during my DH ride...

ini longkang sudah too good. tongue.gif

can I put my ass on it?

The WTB parit minimize your nerve contacting the sadle, so that your sit bone rest on the saddle nicely. The same design in my old raleigh saddle.
