I bet the failed signing of Keane do play a part if Parry did resign... lol... nice?Wait til it's confirm 1st!
From Team Talk:

Parry set to leave Anfield post

Liverpool chief executive Rick Parry is expected to leave the Anfield club at the end of the current Premier League season. shocking.gif  sad.gif

It is thought his departure is not related to his power struggle with manager Rafael Benitez but is linked to a breakdown in his relationship with joint owner Tom Hicks.

Liverpool refused to comment on Friday morning but it is expected an official announcement will be made later in the day.

QUOTE
According to the latest official UEFA coefficient rankings, Rafa Benitez’s Liverpool team are now in top position in the list of most successful European Clubs after their excellent start to the European club campaign this season.

Liverpool beat Real Madrid 1-0 at The Bernabeu on Wednesday night to put them in the driving seat for the second-leg at Anfield in two weeks time, making Liverpool the highest ranked team not only this year, but also in the past five years, just before Benitez took charge of The Reds and guided them to a Champions League win over AC Milan in a memorable night in Istanbul in 2005.

The UEFA coefficient data ranks teams based on both the results and the standard of opposition in all European competitions over a five-year period.

1 - Liverpool FC (114.077)
2 - Chelsea FC (110.077)
3 - Barcelona (109.403)
4 - AC Milan (109.306)
5 - Arsenal FC (101.077)
6 – Sevilla FC (100.403)
7 - Manchester Utd FC (99.077)
8 - Bayern Munich (93.664)
9 – Olympique Lyonnais (90.576)
10 - Inter Milan (87.306)

Liverpool also have the highest ranking for this present season with (18.1775 points) closely followed by Bayern Munich with 17.8625, with Atletico Madrid and FC Barcelona equal third with 16.2125 points each.

Next come Arsenal and Chelsea, who are equal on 16.1775 points, followed by Manchester United, who have 15.1775 UEFA coefficient points this season.

The points are calculated the following way:

The basis for the UEFA rankings is the performance of teams in the European Cups during a five year period. During that period each team gets two points for a win and one point for a draw. One bonus point is allocated for reaching the quarter final, the semi final and the final. Qualification for the first knock-out round of the Champions League yields 4 possible bonus points (from 2004-2009 - 1 bonus point, prior to 2004 - no bonus).

religion, politics or any other shenaningans dont MIX in sports.....in sports, i only have one religion and that is Liverpool Football Club.

i agree....its stupid to freakin ban the team because of the jews in the team or for whatsoever reason. i personally think the gov is stupid. and the FAM is stupid... the only issue here is human conscious.
