Pepe and Cannavaro were too solid.. We're not aggressive tonight.

Overall, ok. Both have the chances. No stupid mistake (because no Lucas maybe?)..

"Though Liverpool had the corner, they took ages to take it and the ref blew for half time before they could. A typically dull European first half involving Liverpool. Better in the seond half please..."

Taken from soccernet's gamecast.. lol.

Don't forget, Robben was the MasterOfDiving before he gave the title to RonaldoTheDiver but fortunately, that CR boy grew up to be a better man..

I'm sure Robben pass down the special acting technique to Gago in their training..

im totally agree with some gago's attitude, when he is losing a ball, he started keep rushing, ugling in tackling, then acting like he dont deserved it. it was happened in la liga campaign too.

Are you talking about our no.21? Your description seems like him.. tongue.gif

I agree on result over everything. We won yesterday but it's not a 'beautiful' play. Maybe RB has instruct team to behave like that, defensive minded. But what I concern right now, is this style of playing will get us to the top? It may work on Real but with more physical team in BPL, I don't think so. While we defend quite good yesterday, all the time I'm afraid when Real get the ball especially with Robben. If not with his 'oscar acting', I will respect him making our defense struggle containing him. Torres on the other hand, frustrated with no pass to him and too little chances, thanks to Benny and Riera helping defending and left him alone up there while Pepe and Cannavaro constantly harassing him. Adding injury to it and.. Kudos to Alonso and Masch dominating the centre area, again thanks to underperformed Lass (name on his back) and another 'oscar winning' acting Gago. Iker was almost doing nothing and that 'cold' hand costs him this game.

There are 3 factors why we win this game. Patience, luck and their lose of concentration. Take the chance and bring the goal back home two weeks from now. Peace.

Lass= diarra la...Anyway, he was one of the better performer on field.I wont say that he is underperforming. In fact, he is better than those days he had in Pompey.

In case you didn't know, Casillas was busy eating donuts and drinking starbucks...  wink.gif

Example would be, no one man mark benayoun...Poor diarra had to mark two person at once.  laugh.gif

I knew la about that 'Lass', just referring to the name on his back only. biggrin.gif I rarely watch Real game (4 in the morning and it's not Liverpool, why should I bother..) but I certainly sure his performance is supposedly better than last night. But I'm agree on the two person marking thing..The other one busy 'acting'..

One more I noticed lately. Arsenal are behaving more like us seasons ago where pretty unsuccessful in domestic league but triumph in cup and Europe. Wenger learns from from master Rafa eh?

And one more thing. We can win if our no.21 is not in starting lineup.. Gonna check some statistic now..

Added on February 26, 2009, 10:41 pmWin less with Lucas starting:

Aston Villa 0 - 0 Liverpool
Tottenham Hotspur 4 - 2 Liverpool
Liverpool 0 - 0 Fulham
Arsenal 1 - 1 Liverpool
Stoke City 0 - 0 Liverpool
Wigan Athletic 1 - 1 Liverpool
Liverpool 1 - 1 Manchester City

Total: 7 matches

Win less without Lucas starting:

Standard Liege 0 - 0 Liverpool
Liverpool 0 - 0 Stoke
Atlético Madrid 1 - 1 Liverpool
Tottenham Hotspur 2 - 1 Liverpool
Liverpool 1 - 1 Atlético Madrid
Liverpool 0 - 0 West Ham United
Liverpool 2 - 2 Hull City
Liverpool 1 - 1 Everton BPL
Liverpool 1 - 1 Everton FA

Total: 9 matches

But bear in mind, Lucas was involved most of matches above as sub for either Masch or Alonso around 75++ minutes. So Lucas still on the pitch at the end..

I'm not trying to prove anything here. Just rough stat about Lucas involvement in our 'win less' matches. Peace. biggrin.gif

I guess we have to live with that. Even without them, we were quite successful on the pitch. It's nice (I mean, great) to have them but have faith to other team members (except Lucas and Babel maybe?).. Maybe it's time to bring out Ngog more.

Last season, I hate Aurelio a lot and loves Babel.
This season, I hate Babel a lot and loves Aurelio.
Each one has a good season and must have a bad one. I don't know whose gonna be in my love/hate list for the next season.
But one thing doesn't change, I always hate Lucas and always loves Torres, even when he was in AM.

I don't know what I'm trying to say. Just pure ranting and rambling..

I'm so damn pissed off right now. But it's already there. When United lead us by 5 points I gave up the title already.

Looking at the bright side (special for Solstice), Lucas new look is quite hot!!

RB: This is an easy game. Let's put scrappy players out there and we can still win. We got Gerrard what..
SL: Yes sir. I believe in you. You are my god.

In the end, the scrappy players don't even need to work hard because they know Rafa will field them one day, on crucial occasions.

Remember the 6+5 rules? Not implemented yet but this a possible death note for Liverpool.

They were on average just now. Everybody were unmotivated, especially after Alonso blunder. Wait, Benny was full of spirit..

I can somehow recognize the win-draw-loss pattern for Liv.

We control the game, ended draw or loss like today.
Both teams 50-50 possession, win or draw.
We play defensive, win (mostly I think).
