Yes, the line is back. So the interruption actually started since around 2am this morning until 11am++? The line seemed fine to me until about 10am this morning after I restarted my phone when my friend informed me about the interruption.

I have no idea whether there was any upgrading being carried out, as I think that only PJ area was affected. Care to share why you think that their service is getting worse?

Yes, both side will get charged. Just that the receiver will get charge at a EXTREMELY SUPER expensive rate

Hi

I am currently a postpaid user for Maxis. My plan was urm i forget already because I register it in late 2002. Been using the same number and same plan till now.

The problem is that the usage charges is rm70 and normally I use more than rm 100. The problem is during the billing it will add up rm 70 and rm 100 then minus 25% discount. The bill is still expensive roughly around rm140+

Anybody know if Maxis is voiding usage charges if you exceed certain amount? I know Digi did that.

Ive been using Maxis postpaid since April 2008, so its only been 4 months. I registered for the Value Pack RM80, but every month the bill is tremendously high........im gonna be so dead broke man. It came up to almost RM400 over a month......i was shocked.

So finally, I have come up with a decision to close my line and change back to prepaid or other telco. Is it possible to do so? Or is there any contract, lets say I need to use the line for at least a year?

Btw, im a foreigner..i have paid a deposit of RM500. And its possible to claim it right away on the spot? Or do they issue a cheque?

Thanks.

YOu need to wait until its 6 months then you can switch back to prepaid with a fee. If you are bind to some contract then you just need to pay a penalty

Pangkey, get itemised billing for your line. Check your bills. Sometimes you can't realize that you had spent so much. I was in that kinda situation before, but of course, the bill is way lower than yours. After nagging from parents, I check my online itemised billing every week to control myself. And I manage to control to use around RM30-50 one month.

Did you actually read her post properly? She said nagging from parents, not bf nag her, not parents nag her. And she actually trying to cut her cost.
I don't see she being treated like a princess, she is actually trying to help her parents to lower the burden of paying the monthly phone bill
