Yea totaly agree with you on the OPnss of games in australia....I don't knw wht thier games have (maybe diamonds or gold pieces inside thier cases) but they are quite up there...However having lived there for almost 5 years prior to moving back hasn't stop me from shopping for games (you just have to know the right people and also right stores to go to...)

Small tip for those who are going back.....*Don't shop for games @ EB* They are the worse pricing sellers in Australia....Only buy from them if any other stores are sold out completely and you can't wait anymore or...if they have some kind of deal which you gain from buying there...

Look into JB they are must cheaper and also service is better (cause they aren't stress like ppl @ EB...if you see those EB sales ppl they all look like Jehova witness ppl >_<)

And DOW2 being needing 2 online services to function (any one can confirm this with retail version?) on multi player is gonna be hit hard, a main concern of a lot of veterans here.

Other than that don't buy them in Aus...get them in Mas cheaper than aus...

Game breaking bug detected for MP, the population cap did not go down acturately when your units are killed, eventually you will be pop caped while only having a few units later ingame, I found it out on my first 1v1(tho still won, lol), do take note for those who is going for MP, let's see how fast relic will fix this.

I say go for empire total war if you want to play more single player or grans strategy+ civiliastion type game, or play the grand campaign with your friends. If you want to play for multiplayer 2 v 2 or 3 v 3 action more than this is the game for you, but be warned of the bugs crappy promises and lousyly short single player campaign. You can wait and try out the ETW demo thats comming out tomorrow morning 12 am yes 21st of February 12 am on steam.

Then get DOW2, or you can wait for WiC soviet assult or Starcraft 2 beta

Cheese....I think most of us have problems with GFWL or Steam. Hopefully everything else will be smooth sailing after getting over all these nonsense...

No probs encountered,  so far till Day13 liaoz.

And Cheese: with me that's at least 2 people for who DOW2 works without bug or crashes so far, Steam is crap (but mostly due to our shitty tmnet) but at least the game is stable here. I play on an Dell Inspiron 9400 (so very far from a powerhouse laptop)

If im not wrong, Steam doesn't do the multiplayer (matchmaking), GFWL its the one does the matchmaking too like GameSpy used to.
