why my steam client won't updating at all?

The status is "Pre-load complete" for me. Launch button changed to "Pre-load". Click on it and Steam ask you to purchase DoW2.
Back to Company of Heroes for me... |

Damn,just that i fix the choppy frame rates for DoW2,the beta is finished.
I can run the game smoothly on medium now.No lag at all. Damn it.  Im considering to get it too.Probably a few months after release. |

Could be that your steam is outdated also....however the issue is very un common....could be anything thats causing your steam to update.....(bad line, faulty registry, not up to date software..)
My suggestion is keep trying if not uninstall and reinstall with te latest client.. |
