Grrrrr, Opening Search in home screen shows System error, and the dictionary app also not working...

Update: Uninstalled 1 program and dictionary is working now. Search is working too!!!!!!!!! YAYYYYYYYYYY

> Dialler & contacts icon, and dialler itself looks much sharper, menus & the phone feels faster now. But I don't see any difference in the screen rotating speed.

> Finally the Search app is something useful. Great!

> Love the new icons, except the one showing a running app... looks green and weird... tongue.gif

> Dictionary is great now, earlier it was English - Chinese but now you can download other languages... great!!!

> Seems like the phone connects faster to the PC in PC suite mode now.

Just picked one randomly... Think uninstalling any app you installed should fix it.

i wish for that too. i don't know why Nokia made it blink so darn slowly whilst the E71 blinks very fast and very easy to tell that i've got a missed call/sms.

sorry for my ignorant but where is the light ar ?? i tried to give myself some missed call and i don't see no light blinking anywhere on the phone. I have it ON in the setting though. Maybe i just dunno where it is and i missed the 1 blink per 30 sec haha

It's the white light lah. The menu button. The center button. Although I would actually prefer the phone to beep the reminder like Motorola. You can't exactly hear a light, you know.

I have set WEP password for my house wifi also. U can save the connection settings in your Tube. Follow this:

1. Connectivity
2. Destinations
3. Access point - Add new access point

Then you'll have the options of automatically checking for available access points. If your wifi SSID is not hidden, then just say Yes, your phone will scan all available network.

You can then play around with the settings, WEP or WPA key, etc.. Then save it.

Next time u connect, no need to select hidden network and re-enter the WEP/WAP key..

Cheers
DV

Been using for like 2 weeks, it seems like the GPS signal is hard to be received even I tried it on a open space with no tall building nearby
Secondly, just happened this morning, when i tried playing the music, it started with mute. when i press the volume control button, it suddenly becomes very loud, meaning to say, the volume set before wasn't 0.

anyone have the problem mentioned above?

Detecting location is definitely faster with AGPS. Much. I for one would pay the 1 - 2 sen to get the faster lock than to wait 1 - 2 minutes for a lock without it.

Plus, A-GPS also allows you to lock (sort of) indoors. With the new firmware, this means geo-tagged pictures indoors even.
