QUOTE(SSJBen @ Jun 6 2009, 03:11 PM) Can. If you have the guts of a true modder, you can take a part anything from the PS3 and mod it to whatever you want. but i think it might be hard to find.QUOTE(ffSeeD @ Jun 6 2009, 03:24 PM) noob question. QUOTE(lapaq @ Jun 7 2009, 08:00 AM) naahh...real reason is to tell people that those without chrome one is a lesser version of the console. Or at the very least are peasants instead of royalties dont understand QUOTE(lapaq @ Jun 7 2009, 08:12 AM) Ohhh, he told me about this be ask me not to tell other people. that happen because he never fix it properly and somehow shortcircut the cover...then he blamed Sony for it... when you insert the PS3 game in blu ray disc, it will automatic install the game, that is more like a "cache" because reading game data directly from the HDD are more faster compare to read it from the BD, normally the PS3 will copy/install some of the important data to the HDD.

QUOTE(kimono38 @ Jun 9 2009, 10:45 AM) Aii, if they just allow all game install into HDD then the lens spoil chance also less...and we wont have bluray crack/scratch problem either...just need extra money for hdd storage (i prefer this) 1TB wont last you long enough if you really want to install all the games and not delete it |

But seem need to buy additional device, that PSeye can detect your hand movement. check out the E3 conference, you will see more demonstration on the motion sensor things. |

QUOTE(Jenn77 @ Jun 12 2009, 11:53 PM) Seriously, Im d really kiasu + calculative type.. oso keep asking why YLOD and why got lens problem? Sony is supposed to be superb in quality! But like alot of forumers wrote, its depends on luck and some time some day it will eventually breakdown.. simply because it is a electrical item. Alot of factors contribute to the malfunction. Ive been following a plasma thread closely and found out that one unlucky forumer got his brand new plasma with dead pixels.. just one dot can kill the whole tv! Damn.. Anyway I do pray hard that neither will happen to me... last time i got PS1 and play 100% ahem disc no problems at all, my cousin's PS2 slim version also 100% running on ahem disc, also no problem. DVD player and VCD player all no problem at all... and of coz i hope hardware failure wont happen to my PS3 actually there are a lot of factors that can contribute to lens failure, placing your subwoofer near the PS3 also can damage the HDD or the lens, lens overheat also can cause failure, excessive vibration, dust and so on... but i think PS1 and PS2 lens are suppose to be more vulnerable since we need to take out the disc and put in another disc with our hand, at least now PS3 got a disclose environment for the PS3 lens. |

i found something just now when i doing some search around google...
spoiler below might be quite offend and insult to PS3 users » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Added on June 13, 2009, 12:11 am QUOTE(Jenn77 @ Jun 13 2009, 12:07 AM) Im abit worry since I have a entry level set of HT in my living room and most of all our beloved Jack Russell Terrier who sheds quite alot! Scared someday the said disclose compartment will be filled with dog fur. I plan to use some cloth to cover the ps3 when not in use, so is the AVR. i've been using my PS3 for months now, yes, there's a lot of dust, since after i use my car wax on the PS3, it has more dust HT doesn't really give much effect on the PS3, unless you always max out the subwoofer and place it near the PS3 This post has been edited by amduser: Jun 13 2009, 12:11 AM |
