sometime it will hang when surf web and need to wait for it to respond so much for a PS3, but PS3 is purely for internet browsing |

HDD in my laptop is 48c now, maximum temperature it hit before is 55c, which is still within the operation temperature of the HDD, maximum temperature it can take before something wrong should be 60c or 65c
so it is safe in PS3, and and HDD operating temperature is around 40c minimum. FYI, my laptop is carry with the faulty nvidia chipset, my HDD brand is toshiba, come with the laptop and i havent change it, been using for a year still running well. i assume CECHK PS3 does not having much heat problem, but at the back there still can feel many heat being emitted the most effective way to protect your HDD content is to constantly backup your HDD data, so you will have no worries next time, just spend some time to load all the games data back to the new HDD, and at the same time you can change to a bigger capacity as well |

QUOTE(SSJBen @ Jun 19 2009, 07:59 PM) Common sense. Except UT3, there isn't a single game that has keyboard+mouse support. i think i use too much L3 and R3 already, now the stick there got some wear and tear So why even bother buying a gaming mouse and keyboard then? Unless you have too much money to spend that is. I have had my DS3 for a year and half now, it is still in pristine condition. |

QUOTE(msn83235502 @ Jun 19 2009, 08:56 PM) hahaha... buy razer just for UT3 and browsing the internet using ps3? that's why ppl is wondering bout u amduser. because i thought you are talking about the profile button instead of the supported games, and there are people who really willing to fork out that much money for a mouse, after all a higher DPI mouse is better for larger screen |

QUOTE(SSJBen @ Jun 19 2009, 10:44 PM) Most people are on a 1366x768 resoulution TV, it's not about the size. You don't need a 2000 dpi and above mouse to move at that resolution. Heck, a ball mouse does the job just fine. Are there people that freaking lazy to even move 1 inch of their wrist? Even on a 1080p TV, a regular optical mouse works just as well. Heck, the R3 analog stick works just as fine. Ever since last Friday, shitmyx going through their so called upgrading service. Most of the times cannot login, even if can login... theres a high chance of being disconnected. Keep waiting, keep trying. Thats all you can do. it is not about the pixels, it is about the size of the TV, unless you are saying that you zoom out or zoom in the internet browser then it is different, if you see if in full size, higher dpi mouse will sure benefit from it, or you are thinking that higher dpi mouse is for lazy people and only for gaming? |

QUOTE(SSJBen @ Jun 19 2009, 11:22 PM) Lulz.... ya sure, with a flick of your wrist, on a projected screen? ya sure...Don't believe? I once ran a cursor across a 150" screen with a flick of my wrist using a standard optical logitech mouse (the ones which cost RM20, not those G9/G5/MX etc.), the screen resolution is 720p. Get your facts right dude. Considering you are in apiit, I thought you'd know this man. some people just want it better, consider the ergonomic a razer mouse can give, if you know how to choose the right mouse for you if you want to talk, then talk with me, not involve with the college i'm study. |

QUOTE(msn83235502 @ Jun 20 2009, 02:48 AM) a 2000dpi for a web browsing using ps3? (so far only UT3 support mouse for gaming) hahahaha... is it wise to do so? 2000dpi for web browsing, why cant? even my mouse now also 1800dpi, and i like it, so i dont see a reason why it is useless to get a mouse for PS3, furthermore a mouse not only can use in PS3, but in other PC as wellif it is for PC, it's another story, we're talking bout the console dude. |

QUOTE(derlin @ Jun 20 2009, 05:40 PM) No offence, I've been following this thread ever since it began and I just read and I don't post much and LYN is a place with tons of very useful information. Seriously, lots of things you posted somewhat mislead me when I initially wanted to buy a PS3 and to a certain extend, you are not being helpful at all and it confuses things even more, I had to verify my information whenever I read about the things you post (Google for god's sake...). When I read about your 2000DPI mouse browsing thingy? That somewhat pushed a button that made me write this. because you cant get what i mean. You can buy a 100" TV and watch a VHS tape movie on it or you can buy a Ferrari and drives on a 50kmph road.. and so? What does a 2000dpi mouse use on a PS3 for web browsing purpose is even useful in a FAQ thread? For all i care, it's your money and you can overdo things for what it's worth but if it gets technical, you are not the right person for any of such discussion so, again I am not here to flame you or such, but unless you get your facts right when you post, I would really be glad if you don post at all, as it is not helping anyone that wants to buy or wants to know more about PS3.. This is a forum after all, and if you find this offending, you can just choose to ignore it and I'll apologize in advance if it hurt you in any ways. Just my opinion, Peace and out. from what i want to say is, there is not restriction to which type of mouse you use for internet browsing on PS3, is just like why there are some people who willing to fork out more money to buy a better cable for their PS3, then why cant i buy fork out more money to buy a better mouse?? |
