QUOTE(esca_flo @ Jun 25 2009, 06:26 AM) converting is not a problem but then the subtitles all gone , so im left with high quality gundam 00 mp4 without subtitles. been reading tutorials for all these things , gave up halfway. remux will cause all the sub dissapear, if got .ass sub file then easier, for anime, i've tried many, all give the same results, the sub will dissapear or the sub appear to be very small or too big until it flood the whole screen PS3 Media Server is the best solution for you if you want to watch anime, but there is some lag issue if you use wifi on both your PC and your PS3 QUOTE(lapaq @ Jun 25 2009, 08:31 AM) Esca, if PS3 is using wifi connection then still cant enjoy completely lossless, got to lower down the quality for its smoothness Use Ps3mediaserver if....no need to think about all the steps...just installa and set the encoding settings...if you have a super powderful PC then no loss in quality in reencoding...if no so powderful...got some loss laa. |

QUOTE(vorchiel @ Jun 27 2009, 07:57 PM) CECHK is 130W, my 2:1 speaker is kinda weak, so i think it is not even 50W, and LCD TV should be around 100W also right? but that doesn't make sense that the electric bill got increased to crazy who got do folding@home 24/7 can tell how much is the electric bill? |

QUOTE(maskedchan @ Jun 28 2009, 08:20 AM) yeah, 1w also is money. assume that on standby mode, 1W for TV, 1W for PS3, 1W for speaker total also less than 5 to 10W and PS3 also on standby mode, speaker also on standby mode. all those are money maybe while playing game, you on your air-con too... there go your money again before i brought my TV and PS3, i on my laptop almost 24/7 for torrent, now i do the same, no change at all my house is condominium, so dont have air con, only rely only natural air since i'm on a higher place, at my hometown there, i on air con for almost everyday during hot season last this few months also about RM60-70, and the electric consumption there are more higher than here. |

QUOTE(King83 @ Jul 2 2009, 12:07 PM) What is best way to place the PS3? read it at some random website some times ago, place it horizontally for better ventilation while place it vertically get better wifi coverageStanding vertical or horizontally flat on table? read about it somewhere here but forgot and cannot find it anymore but when i place it vertically, i can feel a bit warm at the PLAY STATION 3 the words there and other place is like normal temperature, even the exhaust vent doesnt have much warm air coming out when placing it horizontally the bottom part of the PS3 warmer while the other part remain normal temperature, air coming out from exhaust vent also quite warm... |
