QUOTE(D.Sync @ May 13 2009, 01:11 PM)
I'm currently trying to register for warranty.

But the following error occured when I had key in all the information:

There is a problem in the inputs of Date of Purchase,...

Any help? The date is today.

Added on May 13, 2009, 1:13 pmBTW I'm installing the update now. Can I unplug the USB cable that connected to my controller (when first time start) and enjoy the wireless?
*
it is recommend that you charge the controller for 6 hours, that's what that guy told me when i buy from him.

the battery can last very very long, i play for few hours only 1 bar gone, but after some time the battery capacity will not be that good and lose charges very fast.

Added on May 13, 2009, 4:13 pmwant to ask, can i use other wireless router brand other than the model listed on the compatible list in the first page?

what does 2.76 do?  sweat.gif

consider it a minor update, improve playback on certain format in PS3, but it doesn't said that it will support .mkv files right?

i want to ask, i just brought the HAWX, and when i play it the graphic look sucks, it is not the 1080p that i expected, is it normal? i can see big pixels at the edge, same like GRID demo and rag doll kung fu, something to do with my settings? hmm.gif

i go to display settings there i only tick 1080p and the 520i which is a must to choose it...

What sort of monitor do you use?

GRID is locked in 720p, if you de-select it and force it into 1080p it automatically switches down to 576i(no such thing as 520i).

Same goes to Rag Doll Kung Fu. HAWX is also another 720p only game, forcing it into 1080p will bring the game down to 520i.
*
i use full HD LCD TV lar, so basically i have to enable the 720p detection also ar? no wonder lar, got any game is natively 1080p supported? GT5p?

Yes, enable 720p and 1080p.

In technical sense, no games are natively 1080p. Most of which supports 1080p are just upscaled. GT5P has 1080p support, upscaled of course. Doesn't nessasarily looks better than 720p.
*
no game support 1080p natively? that's sad, better dont buy full HD LCD TV lor cry.gif

home always has problems like this. sometimes nothing is wrong. sometimes cant log on. it takes up a lot of bandwidth i guess.
*
it takes up really a lot, when i'm running torrent on my laptop, my laptop still can online, i can even play online multiplayer without problem, but when connect to home it just hard to connect and easy to disconnect.

Hi, My sister bought me a PS3 from UK. I dont have LCD yet. I just want to try it out with normal CRT TV. But no video output. Can somebody help me...totally noob here

if your PS3 are previously plug into HDMI then you need to reset the PS3 settings then only can switch to component.

i'm lazy to import all the songs to my pc and put into thumbdrive rclxub.gif

QUOTE(SSJBen @ May 20 2009, 01:07 PM)
People mistake the thing in "pirated disc" meaning that the disc is crappy quality, which isn't actually.

The problem with pirated disc causing a possible damage to your lens is because those people who burn data onto the disc and sell them in pasar malam couldn't give a rat-ass about how they burn the data on the disc. They would just open their favourite burning program, choose the highest speed, select the data, click burn. That is all.

If you are burning data yourself and you know what you are doing, like taking precautions in burning at a lower speed, setting the right amount of cache, and so on... no problems will occur.
Agreed.
And yes, this is the other better way if you are so paranoid.
*
but i use nero to burn disc, speed is automatic and after burn disc it will verify the disc, wonder will this be ok hmm.gif
