QUOTE(Steph85 @ Apr 23 2009, 11:02 PM) Can we rent/buy the blurray movie from US PSN ? They added few k of movie for rent and download, however the content is not available after i click from the main pages. If it hasnt changed, the video/movie DLC are IP-locked to USA IP only even though you are using a USA PSN ID.Anyone dl those movie b4 ? QUOTE(XenoFr3ak @ Apr 24 2009, 06:00 AM) I got a question, i tried to register myself for PSN thru my pc .. but the country selection for Malaysia is not listed online. izzit normal, or shud i choose Singapore instead. Sorry I forgot to update the first post. To register a Malaysian PSN ID, you have to register via PS3. |

QUOTE(XenoFr3ak @ Apr 24 2009, 07:00 AM) Thanks for the heads-up .. appreciate it. Does it make a difference if i register under SG or even US via online PC? no difference to me. just register at least one Asian (SG/HK) and a USA ID. Normally USA PSN Store gets demo/contents first. And Asian Store accepts many Malaysian Credit Cards. |

QUOTE(air @ Apr 28 2009, 11:48 AM) I read through the FAQ and found out that: you can use composite RCA (yellow/svideo), but the resolution is 480i max. to get 720p, you have to use ps2/ps3 component cable (red green blue)The VGA box component cable got 5 cables on the other end, but mine PS3 cable only got yellow, red and white end. This could mean that I need to give up my own PS3 cable and use the 5 to 1 component cable in VGA box? |

QUOTE(air @ Apr 28 2009, 01:49 PM) Thanks for the info. So I only need to use the RGB PS3 cable which included in VGA BOX?(or do I need to purchase separately?) i am not sure if a particular VGA box comes specifically with ps2/ps3 component cable because even though on one end there are RCA jacks (red green blue), the other end that should be connected to the ps3 must be in ps2/ps3 AV port. the only standard port for ps3 are hdmi, optical audio and usb.I am a monitor noob, can you please point out the pros and cons of my monitor with VGA box Samsung Syncmaster 17 inch 732n Plus Only have blue VGA female port. Please dont hesitate to state out the downgrading effect or other effect(if got) I bought my PS3 yesterday and find out my monitor not HDMI-DVI compatible with PS3(just DVI compatible with graphic card on PC). Thank you. ![]() |

added to the first post
i hope that you dont mind if i change something like 720i -> 720p and on RCA things both composite and component are RCA, the difference is composite uses 1 and component uses 3 for video signal. This post has been edited by vorchiel: Apr 29 2009, 03:24 PM |
