myth busters did the special about how the disc spins soooo fast that it breaks apart in your drive. kekekek. lucky it was only a myth.
...although of course they revved it up until the disk did shatter to pieces.

no no. it was when using perfect discs. apparently when it spins too fast it creates its one gravitational pull shall we say. and starts wobbling then when it wobbles tooooo much it shatters to hundreds of pieces. but your average drives never turn that fast unless there is some error that overclocks it. heheh.

if your game freezes while saving, or it just freezes while playing, those are the main issues.
Added on February 22, 2009, 12:47 pmand i guess it would cause a bit of stress on your lens.

QUOTE(mzaidi @ Feb 27 2009, 03:32 PM) I got that problem too. The problem went away after I put my PS3's IP Address under DMZ in my router. yeah that doesnt really work for me. but i solved the problem. it appears that my signal from my AP is not so stable. sometimes above 50% and sometimes below..... and sometimes wayyyy below. so once i realised this i now have no problem connecting. even if its 20% reception cannot connect. which i guess makes sense. heheh. looking to create a bridge to get better reception.

um. if you gonna wait then wait for a ps3 slim model. i doubt this blu-ray-less ps3 will be released. it just doesnt make sense. considering the amount of games already released and developed on and for blu-ray.
unless they plan to transfer stuff like MGS4, lbp, kz2, re5, etc to 3-5 dual layer discs.
its a possibility but i doubt it.
Added on February 28, 2009, 12:46 amhmmm actually i looked it up....it might be possible. they plan to release all games on PSN. that would work but man you'd be waiting a loonnnnnggggg time to DL the game hahahahaha. in malaysia that is.
Added on February 28, 2009, 12:47 am...i still think its not going to happen...

QUOTE(Kerry1136 @ Mar 1 2009, 09:13 PM) Guys, was wondering whether does your ps3 is hooked to the internet 24/7? or do you plug it on only when you guys want to online? The reason being said is because I notice whenever my newly bought games wanted to do a patch update, the screen just goes blank and I need to restart my ps3. it jams everytime you need to run a patch? thats not right? but yeah if you dun wanna patch then just sign out of PSN.

QUOTE(lorely3000 @ Mar 2 2009, 08:34 AM) I told sony game won't start in HD. I reset everything & it worked! Thanks... what do you mean it doesnt start in HD. it should start in whatever display mode you set at your initial set up right? .... anywyays hey guys i was wondering are there some games that cannot play under certain display modes? an example is. my cousin got a ps3 hooked up to a normal old tube tv but he cant play call of duty 3. but when we try it on my ps3 got no problems playing. is this an abnormal case or are some games linked to only 720p/i and above?
