yes you can.. BUT PS3 itself will reformat it back...

People here anybody having crackling sound on the audio when you use HDMI connected to LCD TV and using TV speakers or Stereo headphones when watching movies & play games?

I searched online seems mainly due to audio selection but since my PS3 is auto configured to only 2.1 it is unusual to still have that problem. I used 2 HDMI cables on different HDMI ports and the crackling sound still happens when there's deep base like explosions.

If using TV speakers you can hear abit of crackling but if using good headphones it's very annoying and only on the right side...

I don't have external amp/speakers & my TV don't have separate White/Red ports for HDMI channels so I can't use the non-HDMI audio connections as recommended. Now I also hear some people still experience craclking even after using optical cables to their surround system makes me nervous in getting new hardware to test them out...

if both you and your friend are downloading from the same psn store (both SG or both US), it will surely work no matter which psn account you play it on.

i dunno if this was asked before. but....

is there any way to sort the usernames on the PS3? everytime i scroll down i get annoyed because all my usernames and then suddenly in between got... street fighter.... lbp dlc.... then back to my normal username then suddenly...tekken. blah blah.

so is there anyway to make it neater? i got a bit of OCD for these things.

thx panda.... cant sort out username .... just use icons to differentiate..

Sort out by names is impossible.
Only way is to differentiate by using different icons.

The PS3's XMB has a very poor grouping capabilities. Sony should definitely improve this on the firmware.
Why can't we sort everything out in our way, I don't know. It isn't that hard to implement anyway.

You can sort out names in PSN. :S

triangle -> sort by (above message list) -> by name.

Yes, the user accounts your PS3 logs in with. Not your PSN friends list.

can i use dlc from psn asia to play an R1 game? meaning can the R1 game detect dlc from psn asia? thanks

most of DLCs are region locked. but i've managed to use DLC from US PSN in my Asian PGA Tiger Woods 10. other game i dont know, but generally DLC is region locked.
