dvi port doesnt mean that it supports hdcp internally. earlier displays with dvi port doesnt support hdcp although now we can assume that all models with dvi port will automatically support hdcp. do check the specs/datasheet to confirm though.

my 2007 Benq 19" Widescreen LCD eventho got DVI port, it still doesnt support HDCP. you need to check the compatibility first on the net.
but i think most of the current LCD already support HDCP.
if you insist to use your old LCD to play PS3, the only i can think of either you use VGA box or HD-Fury...but be prepare to fork out couple of hundred for it which IMHO you'd be better off buying a new HDCP-compatible LCD

Nope. Apparently i got this 80710102 error. That would mean, one of my IPs is in conflict with the PS3.
But... How come that would happen even when I use static IP? The only way i got my PS3 to get in contact with the router was through WEP. WPA timed out. WPA2 I remember it doesn't work.

if you use a static ip which is in the dhcp pool, conflicts can happen because that ip might have been assigned to another device by the dhcp server. follow shahreza's advice.
it could be better if your router have static dhcp (or dhcp reservation) according to the MAC address. saves the hassle of setting ip statically

OK, if I set outside the DHCP (as shown in router), that would mean if say my allocation is 50, meaning from 60 i should start correct? (Assuming its from the 10th IP)

Tried it, failed. I should say a few things also. I used my modem and made it in bridge mode through this blog's method. http://amznill.blogspot.com/2009/03/how-to...h9200p-dsl.htmlI'm puzzled that it enables DHCP. But, i should say that I'm very horribly blur about the process here. My Wii and DS works like a charm, but my PS3, failing.

My WRT54G is working fine with my PS3 using wireless + WPA encryption. Don't have to change the router but just need sometime to figure out the solution.
