since we can download purchased item from psn store 5 times, and to save cost, we share it among 5 people across 5 different PS3, and since the download can be done in the background (unlike in-game updates) so we used different id pun still can continued download in background....... my question is.

Can we do simultanious 5 (or at least 2) download of the same purchased item on different PS3 at the same time? Or I have to take turn, after one person finish, then the other person can download?

i think it can be done

because the activation/privilege to install is done at the initial part of the download (activating part). after that, it can be installed/downloaded/resumed by any psn id

because anybody who knows the url can download it any time right even using pc (harvest url using proxy). the only problem is the activation/installing part.

well, last time when sony had not tighten the security yet, ppl can get gripshift game for free using the proxy method. and i did get warhawk beta.

No. Cannot. PS2 games runs on the Emotion Engine hardware/ emulated software. New models of PS3 doesn't support this anymore.
