Wonder why Experian is always hiring? Here's the answers from an employee:

It used to be a great place to work for. Not anymore.
It is not just my opinion. People vote with their feet - very high turn-over rate.
None of PMs worked longer than a year.
One person (out of 12) leaves Delivery every 3 months (average).
New delivery manager has no sense of decency. Swearing, deception...
That is why Experian is constantly looking for people.
Do not expect any support from HR.

Would not recommend this place to a friend.

I keep finding same job posted on jobstreet many times from experian..it was weird to me..seems like people come & go..

Because its a Global Development Center and its on an expansion mode, from 500 to 800 employees in 3 years time. Attrition isn't that high, single digit.

HR cant do much, as all fund comes from parent company which located outside this country. They control the money. HR only can work accordingly to instruction.

Becareful with those companies that hire all year round.

Usually it means the company continuously do risk/cost mgmt by attempting to hire cheaper engineers and firing the expensive one, at the same time avoid any impact to productivity.

So usually such company got nasty managers that uses nonsense mgmt methodology such as SCRUM that embarrass you in daily team meeting.

Scrum is used quite a lot in industry for agile. Maybe the manager dont know how it actually works? Hence wrong implementation? unsure.gif

Scrum is invented for managers who usually do not participate in development and is clueless what is happening and hence the daily meeting/reporting.

Scrum is also highly suitable to do hire/fire and churn the team until the manager get the cheapest productive team.

Such mgmt technique is practice in many foreign companies like Experian, Swift, Comptel, Openet, DHL etc.

For last 2 years business was bad and business getting sold off. Effected many employees in Malaysia. Worst is the bosses from oversea treat the employee here like rubbish. Just have the couldn't careless attitude. So when business is sold they say thank you and goodbye

Once you join than you will know. Things always look good front the outside. If not how to attract people to join
