Just did some benchmarks using FRAPS. Min - 39, Ave - 50, Max - 60+ on max, 2x AA and some AF. 1280x1024.

Hell yeah turning off compatibility sure made a difference.

LOL.. use paint brush and paint some sponsorship onto that glove.. haha..

NOW!.. i'm using PS2 controller to play shift...

but dun have the FEEL when u are driving.. need a controller or a wheel then got more FEEL..

i think i need glove to play with the controller

for me keyboard is not too bad lar once u got the hang of it. before this i focus too much on what is in front of my car, on other cars, or my own dashboard ; and that's why i always missed the turns. i tried focusing on the apex of each turn (i turned off the best line indicator) and i see myself following the best line eventually.

but i tried to play grid just now, and damn. it was like fast forwarding! and each corner is so easy to take. 6 laps seems shorter in grid compared to 2 laps in shift!

with keyboard its either full throttle or off throttle. Hence, sometimes the car will go "LOOK MA! I IZ SNAKE"

with analog controller, you can adjust the throttle so the car wont spin around too much

I missed this game already... >.<
Everyday see the cb trailer at work but dont get to play. IT SUCKS... >.<

There's loads of problems in this games that is beyond explainable terms. lol

this month start working back edi after spamming 1 month leave
no more time to just sit in my room from 11am till 3am just to play shift.

Sad part is, I only discovered the wonders of steering wheel 10 hours before I start back working.

in ordder to be feel like sterng i only setin for
-stering sensitivity
-speed stering sensivity

for stering sensitivity = 85%
for speed stering sensivity = 85%
-n for race make sure u pull to oversteer = 0
n remember to tap2 as well
i also use this seting for drift


this is my best seting for 4wd evo9 n 10
drift i use 240sx
i don if it suit u well

i wanna ask, if u get the fastest time in an event, it'll show that u own the event, right?

must i also achieve all the stars as well?? coz i got the fastest times for the mixed events tier 3 but i have not mastered all the corners yet (therefore lacking 1 star)..and the events are still owned by another person.

anyone having trouble with Original NFS_S installer?does it crash & how much the price (at lowyat/sg wang)?

wanted to buy the original b'cause the pirated one always crash even i already install physx,latest dirextx9 update and the visual c++ 2005.

my system:
intel D 2.8, 2GB DDR2 667mhz, Nvidia 9800GT OC 1GB DDR3 256bit.
doest it good enough to play this game?

It could be just your com and there isnt much you can do about.

I tried the demo and it just keep crashing when i change the graphics settings.

Im just waiting for a fix now and hopefully i get to play.

The default settings is too high for me.I get a lot of micro lags and slowdowns.Totally no fun at all.

Have you tried setting the game's compatibility to Win 98/2000?

Not with 98 or 2000,i tried with XP compatibility,it just doesnt work.

My game stopped crashing after I changed the compatibility mode to Win 98/2000. Been playing for 2 weeks without any hiccup. Try it bro.
